OMG these are the answer to my prayers. I am challenged and unable to put my shoes on - or so I thought. These give me the ability to get my shoes on without any struggle and I am so happy to have them.

I don't know why I got these without more consideration. I guess I thought they would be adjustable, or that there would be a plastic barb I could insert to attach to my shoe (they are house slippers, and I wouldn't mind having them attached--I don't mind dorky). But it turns out that would not work anyway, because, as you might be able to see in the picture, there is a good two inches between the tip of the horn and the sole of the shoe, and the shoehorn that guides the heel only to within two inches of the sole is not effective. So these do nothing for me. But for someone with less than ankle-height shoes they might work. But, as noted by one other reviewer ("50/50 On Ease of Use"), the thickness matters. There is just about 1/16-inch between the horn and the back at the end (3/8-inch at the sides, so you can get a finger in to get the heel of the shoe in between the horn and the back). And as you can see in the picture, the heel of my slipper is 1/2-inch, so it is not easy to get these on, and, because the whole upper is just felt, it is very easy for these plastic shoehorn clips to slip off. So I'll just go to a shoe repair place and get some bootstraps sown into the slippers.I hope this help you decide whether these are right for you.

My 8 yr old grandson wonât untie his shoes to put them on. He just slips hus foot in and keeps breaking down the back of the shoes. These work to prevent that, He slips them on his shoe back and then slips his foot in. Success! These are a little tight to get onto the shoe back, but certainly doable

I have struggled the past few months with putting my steel toes work shoes on. I saw this product on Amazon so decided to give it a try. I was concerned when I read the reviews but no concern was needed. My foot slipped into my shoes with ease. So glad I have these!I saw in other reviews that people were having trouble putting these on thicker shoes. I though the same thing until I realized that they go on easily if I just put them on the back of the shoe and pull the outer part towards me. This causes the piece to open up easily and slip on to the shoe correctly.

They need both hands to pry apart to fit the device onto the heel of your shoe. When trying to slip my foot into my shoes (Men's Airbirds, 12W with adjustable elastic ties) the shoehorn would slide over to the one side or the other of my heel every time I tried. They did not work as advertised in the videos. Maybe it's the type of shoes I wear but my point is there was no mention of a particular type of shoe needed to use these devices. I'm returning for a refund. They just do not work for me

On shoes with thick backs, they are difficult to attach; have to spread them apart, attach to the side of the shoe and then slide them to the back of the shoe. On shoes with thin backs, they will not stay in place as you insert your foot into the shoe; they move to the side. Also, when you are inserting your feet into the shoes, you have to make sure you insert your foot straight; any offset and the shoe horn will move, especially with shoes with thin backs.ALSO--- if you are considering these, think about getting a pair of Sketchers Slip-Ons, got three pairs and tossed these shoehorns out.

I like this concept and was excited to try to use these to slip on my Pickleball shoes. However, the heal part of that shoe is rather thick and itâs very difficult to get these on there. Itâs much easier just to use them as a shoehorn, rather than clip them onto the shoe. Once I got them onto the rear of the shoe, they worked fine, but sometimes did slip off to the side as I was trying to put my foot in.

I love this simple but thoughtfully engineered tool. Being handicapped, it is a great helper to me. Because of he shape, I nicknamed it the Rino Horn. I used the hole to add a looped string so I am able to grab it with a hook at the end of a shoehorn. Great tool, reasonably priced and came with one of my favorite colors. Plastic is firm and not too skimpy. Support in the shape was thoughtfully engineered. I am very happy with this item. One suggestion would be longer handle for people that cannot reach the foot easily. About three inches longer would be ok. I toyed with the idea of gluing a piece of plastic to the existing "Rino" but opted for the string loop.
