I was a little skeptical at first that this part was going to work after reading all the mixed reviews and specially after the big price difference. I looked up the part online to see I i could find the original part and found one that came up to $500 so when I found this one for $40 i wasn't sure if it was going to work at all. But it turned out pretty good, it works perfectly and fixed the problem my 2004 volkswagen passat had. I'm really happy with this part ☺️

Was hoping this was the problem on my 05 Passat. The wrecking yard got this with the rest of the car. It did seem to fit.
