What originally took over 20 minutes now takes less than 30 seconds! We've been debading our cars to improve their looks and we were tired of continuously breaking fishing line trying to get the larger badges off. This took slices through in record time.To address those who say the string breaks easily, I'll point out that you never know truly what's behind badges until you get it off. I too have encountered breaks and often it's because there's a notch or something that tore into the string. Besides, if the string was strong enough to tear through anything, it would damage the paint. The strings are sacrifical if you will.

I bought the really cute floating candles that are available but when I try to take them down after my Halloween party, they were stuck to the ceiling. I didn't want to rip all of the paint off my ceiling so I used a hairdryer in this tool to remove the floating candles. It worked great. Problem solved. Next time I won't stick adhesive directly to my ceiling paint.

I grabbed this cause it was cheap and only needed it to removed window rain guard/wind deflectors on my truck. Ended up breaking 3x strings and aside from damaging the paint they could have been pulled off.I’d say if you’d actually use tried to remove the average vehicle amount of badges or emblems you’d go through about all of the strings per vehicle.

This and a rubber decal wheel are the two things needed to perfectly remove decals.

Well so, I wish I could give this 0 stars but you cannot. The wire snapped continually and it was just trying to get the emblem off of a BMW. Okay maybe they just had really good adhesive took it to another vehicle that’s about 10 years old and the wire snapped again. Maybe the wire they just send is terrible, the handles survived but at that point just buy some handles and drill out your own holes for a better wire.

Works as it says, the wires are like more a fabric then a cable which I get so you don’t mess up the cars paint, but they break kinda easy. You get what you pay for but it comes with a couple extra wires which is nice

I bought this wire to debadge my car and it worked so well. I heated up the emblem then used this tool to take it off. Didn’t scratch the paint or leave any marks. Definitely well made with quality nylon to prevent scratches especially on black paint.
