If you have a cache (hidden) aerator faucet from Lowe's (Allen + Roth), then this will probably fit that faucet. My Allen + Roth faucet had a Tom Thumb size aerator (about the size of a dime) and I needed to connect my faucet to a dishwasher adapter (Danco 36108E: 15/16-27Male or 55/64-27Female). It fit perfectly and I have had no issues so far.

After a lot of searching, this is the only adapter I could find that allows me to connect a hose adapter to my sink faucet which has a cache aerator. Do some research to make sure this is what you need, and note that you may need at least one other adapter to connect what you need. I'd also echo another review that the threads seem fairly sharp, so take care when screwing it in.

I have been struggling to figure out how to attach a garden hose to my Tom Thumb faucet. This adapter was what I needed to get from Tom Thumb to 55/64 to garden hose. Now I have access to water for the garden even after I turn off the outside water.

There is not enough thread length on this adapter to allow it to screw into the Tom Thumb cache. (Pfister Ladera faucet) I cannot see that it would be difficult to just make threaded section longer. So...waste of money...and as far as I can see, the only one on the market now.

Used it to make my delta faucet have a regular faucet attachment so I could hook up my Kangen machine. Worked great and was very pleased with the purchase and low cost fix.

I'm mostly satisfied. I would like for the tom thumb side of the adapter to be just a little longer.I think it gets a couple of threads on to the faucet before I can't tighten it more. It's just enough to work. I'm using it to connect a counter top water filter. There's a slight leak when water is diverted to the filter, but a few drops is acceptable for this use case. I suppose it depends on the faucet you're trying to use this adapter on.

This poor, maligned product seems to be suffering from an unclear product description, which appears to have led the previous three reviewers to misunderstand what it is supposed to do. When used for the intended purpose, it works perfectly. One reviewer appears to have tried to use it to convert a pull-out faucet's hose for aquarium use, but didn't realize that pull-out sprayers don't use aerator threading on the hose connection. Some pull-out sprayers might have compatible threading in the center of the stream/spray head, but many of those don't have standard aerators. For that reason, most other aerator adapter rings state explicitly that they aren't for use with pull-out faucets; this one should have said so as well.Another reviewer thought that the wide end of this adapter would fit a garden hose. It won't, nor is this item described as a sink-to-hose adapter. Garden hoses use different thread diameter and pitch from aerators, so even if the 55/64" "standard" aerator diameter looks close, it won't fit a garden hose. However, this adapter could be used in conjunction with a female 55/64"-27 to garden hose adapter, readily available on Amazon; that should make it possible to connect a garden hose to a faucet that uses a recessed Tom Thumb cache aerator. The third reviewer apparently thought that this adapter is an aerator. It isn't.So, to clarify, this adapter is designed to enable you to use faucet accessories that attach to the male 55/64"-27 aerator threads found on most regular kitchen faucets and many bathroom sink faucets. Accessories of this sort include faucet-mount water filters, such as the common PUR and Brita faucet-mount filters, water-saving swivel tap aerators, and portable/rolling washing machine hose adapters. It may be possible to use it in conjunction with a second adapter to attach a garden hose and some other accessories. When used as I've described, it works beautifully. It fit my Peerless Tunbridge faucet and Brita faucet filter perfectly, thus enabling me to use the two together. One word of warning: As I found out the hard way, the threads on this adapter are razor sharp! I sliced four fingers just test-fitting the adapter, and didn't even realize I was bleeding for about 10 minutes. It's not a good idea to use a wrench or pliers to attach the adapter, as doing so will damage its threads and might get it stuck in your faucet. It's supposed to be hand-tightened. To do that safely, wear heavy-duty rubber gloves or handle the adapter with a wet washcloth to avoid slicing your fingers like I did. I docked the adapter one star for product safety.
