Works as it should as far as correct image on SCT. It was right side up but also correct right and left . I’m one of those who the whole right and left thing bothered . I read a review that stated the set screw was on the left but the one i received it is on the right . I thought I would need a different type scope to get the correct image . I had upgraded my star diagonal to the Celestron one with the twist to secure part on it I don’t know the name, using It in daytime I couldn’t tell much difference in brightness and clarity. Between the new Celestron one and this one .Night may be different but I purchased specific for daytime. I like the angle of it , for the easy to see stuff like moon I’m sure it will work just fine . But regardless for the price and daytime use it was a good buy.

Direi assolutamente consigliato

Build quality is exactly what I expected. Great value. No image distortion. I use this unit for my eyepiece camera.

以前購入した他社製品の天頂プリズムに比べて解像度が高いような気がする。この値段では驚きです。ただ、振ると、中でコトコトと小さな音がするのでプリズムがちゃんと固定されていないような気がする。

Not bad not good, and it could be the telescope but it’s just not as clear and focused as I’d hoped.

A 45 degree prism on a standard refracting telescope makes for more comfortable viewing compared to the regular straight-line viewing on mounted telescopes. This unit is of acceptable quality although it does reduce the field of view making it less suitable for low-power wide-angle viewing. Works OK will higher power eyepieces. This prism inverts the image, which makes the image right-side-up for a standard astronomical telescope. This makes the telescope more suitable for viewing terrestrial objects. If you are used to the upside-down image of an astronomical telescope, you might find aiming the telescope disorienting at first when viewing stars. All your movements have to be reversed. For terrestial viewing, telescope aiming will seem more natural.A good cost and performance tradeoff.

I have several Neewer pieces and they all do what they are supposed to. Nice products for a decent price. We have a place up under a mountain in New Mexico, where we can see about 100 miles on a clear day. We have a little telescope, but of course the image is inverted. This simply turns the image around so we can look see it normally. It's awesome!

TIP: Most right-handed users will probably prefer the eyepiece screw on the RIGHT side of the diagonal, and this vendor, Neewer, does place the screw on the right on their only other available diagonal (90 degree). For another example, ALL the multiple Orion brand diagonals position the screw on the right. This allows the dominant hand (for most people) to be the one constantly tightening and loosening the small eyepiece screw, where that fine dexterity is really needed, and also matches up with the fine focus of most telescopes (that have one) being on the right.TIP: Neewer also makes a good 90 degree diagonal with the eyepiece screw on the right (as mentioned above), but I recommend THIS ONE despite the screw position. I have found the 45 degree viewing angle is much more comfortable for all-around use. Otherwise, you can spend quite a bit more and get a 45 degree diagonal with the screw on the right by going with Orion.TIP: Note that this accessory is mainly for refractor telescopes and not reflectors. If your refractor does not already have a diagonal, one of the major advantages of this diagonal is that it will cause the image you see to appear right side up instead of upside down. This is especially helpful for casual or beginning telescope users because the image in the eyepiece will move in the same direction as you are moving the telescope as you scan up and down or left and right. You will probably need to adjust your tripod a little lower than you are used to since you will now be looking down into the eyepiece rather than directly through it into the telescope itself.Even though I have a full sized 8” reflector telescope, much of the time I find myself grabbing my much smaller 70mm refractor telescope for a quick look at the heavens. That smaller scope is a much cheaper piece of equipment. While the optics are reasonably good for the price, it came with a 45° image diagonal that I always suspected was the weak link in the scope’s optical assembly. So I was quick to grab this Neewer diagonal when I saw it at a reasonable price. I was not disappointed, and while the difference was not dramatic I am now definitely getting crisper and sharper views than I was before. One very nice little touch is that eyepiece is secured in place by a brass collar rather than by the tightening screw itself, so you don’t need to worry about scratching the barrels of your good eyepieces. However, that eyepiece tightening screw is on the LEFT side of the diagonal, the opposite of absolutely ALL my other diagonals and telescope eyepiece sockets! This has been very annoying, and I’m not entirely sure that I’m going to get used to it, especially as I switch back and forth between my several telescopes. I’m right-handed (like most of the population), and this is a surprising oversight for the usually well-thought-out products from Neewer. It’s been bothersome enough to me that I was tempted to drop my rating to 3 stars, but based on Neewer’s stellar performance up to this point I’m only docking it 1 star. The bottom line is that Neewer has done it again, providing a good quality product at a very reasonable price, though with one minor fault.

Good little replacement diagonal for your telescope. This is a slightly better diagonal than the stock one included with entry level telescopes. Although there are many out there that are better, this is a good choice for a replacement for its price and quality.
