Very versatile, a must-have for filming any behind-the-scenes whilst getting unique shots. Easily supports a medium full-frame camera, insta360 action cams, Osmo Pocket 3, any smartphone.Solid build quality albeit a bit weighty. The locating pins greatly help - much better functionality compared with the simpler and screw-in magic arms. Better value for money compared with the iFootage model.

I bought this arm to mount my Dell web cam in front of my Dell U4320Q large screen monitor. With a monitor this large, it is a challenge to figure out where to put the web cam for conferencing as you want to be seen as looking into the camera while still being able to view the screen. The bottom of the screen is too low, and the top is too high. Ideally, you would want the camera near the middle of the screen. With this mount, I can position the camera in the screen area when using it and then easily move it down out of the way when it is not needed. It works perfectly! One note on the manual, it does not say how to lock the swivel ends for the arms and when the knob in the middle of the arm is loose, the ends move freely, but when you tighten the knob, it not only locks the center of the arm, but both ends as well.

This is far more solid than it looks in the ad. When the joint in the middle is tightened, it locks in the position of the end mounts. It’s brilliant!

This articulate arm and clamp are threaded with Arri anti-rotation pins, 3/8"-16 and 1/4"-20 at opposite ends. The clamp has both 3/8" and 1/4" holes with ARRI sockets. An articulated arm allows flexible positioning of a monitor or microphone on a video camera. The Arri pins keep the connections from rotating on the screw threads, which is the annoying trait of arms which are merely threaded.

It works but I'm going to stick with more premium brands in future like Manfrotto & Impact. My gear is important and expensive cameras and video equipment need very trustworthy support.,

I use this arm with a Neewer suction cup mount to hold a video transmitter away from the glass for hockey goal cameras. I have it extended away from the glass relatively far so my transmitter doesn't get whacked by hockey pucks coming off the net. Works great!

The Neewer 11" Articulating Magic Arm Clamp is a versatile and budget-friendly addition to any video rig. I’ve been using it to mount accessories like a monitor and occasionally a mic, and it’s been very effective for lightweight gear. The one-knob locking system is incredibly convenient, allowing for quick adjustments while keeping all joints secure. The toothed elbow joint ensures stability, even if it sacrifices a bit of smoothness in positioning.Pros:Versatility: Works well with various setups like attaching mics, monitors, or even mobile devices.Solid Clamp: The included super clamp is strong and reliable, making it easy to secure to a variety of surfaces.Compact Design: Small and lightweight, perfect for rigs where space is limited.Cons:Weight Limitations: The arm works best with lightweight accessories. Heavier gear can cause the joints to loosen over time.Maintenance Required: The joints occasionally need re-tightening, which can be inconvenient during shoots.Overall, this magic arm is a great value for lighter setups and occasional use. Just be mindful of its weight limits and plan for occasional maintenance. It’s a solid 4-star product for anyone looking to enhance their video rig on a budget!

My monitor has mounting threads at the top of the stand behind the screen, and I wanted to use this to hold a WebCam, which I point down at my desk for playing Magic. I nearly got a smaller arm, but I’m glad I sprung for this, it’s perfect. Anything shorter wouldn’t work.Installation was simple enough, just loosen the nut in the middle, hold it in the position that you want after mounting one side, then tighten the nut, and it tightens the ball joints as well. This arm feels well well-made, although the balls attached to the mounting ends are plastic. This shouldn’t be a problem as long as you aren’t rough with it.My monitor is the CORSAIR XENEON 32QHD165, so if you have a similar sized monitor with mounting threads on the stand, this arm will probably be perfect for you if you are looking for something to put a WebCam or mic on.

The Arri pins make the attachment more secure and even if your cage doesn't have pins it'll still worl because the pins retract. This is a strong and secure arm.
