Bought this last year with the refill. It goes fast when mixed with the hose, i wish there was a mixture valve. It does have a great smell, i have 2 dogs and not much grass in their potty areas. But the smell only lasted a couple days and less if it rained. This would work great for a short term solution ie: BBQ or outside party to get rid of the pet smell.

There are stray cats who use my back yard specifically for a bathroom. It drives me insane and it smells awful. My dog also has gotten sick when I missed picking up some of the cat mess and he ate it. I sprayed this and it helped. Not completely remove the smell but somewhat. It was easy to get into a bottle. The solution last quite a long time while spraying. It didn’t damage my grass: I wish it would have lasted longer.

We have two large breed dogs, and this works wonders in our gravel dog run during the dry season. It's very easy to use, and smells decent during application.

THE GOOD - I just connect the hose and sprayer to water down my 10' x 14' enclosed gravel covered dog run where the big dogs do their business. One NaturVet bottle is good for 1 treatment, but I spread it out of 2 treatments to save money if the oder wasn't too bac. Smells nice, but a bit on the strong side.THE BAD - I bought several of these over time...got kind of pricer after a while since it doesn't prevent future pee smells from quickly developing, especially during the summer.I have used Murphy's Soap Oil with water that does very well in getting rid of pee odor, but it gets still pricey over time. By the way, soaking and then hand washing smelly ice hockey gear with Murphy's Soap Oil and water will get rid of all smells. Works way better than anything out there to ridding the awful smell out of shin guards, elbow pads, gloves, helmets, and hockey bags. Any hockey parent will tell you hockey gear smell is the worst.MY CURRENT SOLUTION - I started mixing several tablespoons of baking soda (from Costco) with a gallon of water (empty milk cartons) and immediately spot treat each fresh pee spot with a squirt bottle (large Ketchup squirt bottle). This will hold down the smell quite a bit because baking soda will help neutralize the acidic urine that causes the smell. When the pissy smell starts to build up in the hot sun, I will fill a gallon size garden watering pail with soda water and add an 1/8 cup or less of Odor Ban (watermelon scented) to the solution. I then water the gravel area with this solution where the dogs peed on. I'll lightly water the gravel afterwards with the hose sprayer to prevent any possible iritation to the dogs' pad and to help the solution soak deeper into the ground. My dogs are trained to pee only on a 3' x 5' area. Works great. A gallon of Odor Ban is only $10, By the way, this solution works well on spot cleaning carpets...and also when used in a carpet cleaner machine where incontinent persons occasionally have a boo-boo or oospy.

I have artificial turf in a dog run and 3 german shepherds. This stuff is amazing!! Not only does it eliminate the odor, but it also smells great and keeps the mosquitoes away! I’ve tried several other products and this is the only one that works for any length of time. I would recommend to anyone and everyone.

I've been looking for something that could help me to keep my garden in a decent condition since I rescued a dog who turned to have serious behavioral issues. He was so aggressive with other males that at some point I couldn't take a risk of walking him (we are almost of the same weight). Training promised to take a good deal of time so I started to buy different cleaning products being genuinely sorry for my neighbours.Long story short this one is amazing! I order it from cyprus and pay 19% tax every time but this "stuff" is so good it's worth the hassle. Nice smell is not too strong but it lasts and doesn't just cover the odor but really neutralises it. Extremely convenient and easy to use: one just have to fix it to a water hose and water a yard. It saves me a lot of time.I have to mention highly efficient, prompt and client oriented customer service as well. When at one occasion my parcel was lost by a delivery company they send me the new one immediately after I let them know about the issue.

I moved from a warehouse in a major urban city to a house the country. After being here with my dog for two years, I noticed on a string of 100-degree days that the yard reeked of urine. BAD. Never having dealt with this issue before, because this is the first time I've had my own yard, I freaked out and raced to the computer to see if there were any enzymatic treatments that were safe for lawns. To my surprise, I discovered there are several products just for this problem!Since I was also having an issue with tons of bugs, I had been looking into natural remedies to repel them. So when I found this odor control product that also had citronella — citronella oil being one of the most common herbal insect repellents — it was like kismet. I could kill two birds with one stone, yay!The day this stuff arrived, I immediately unwrapped it and headed out to spray it on. I noticed the difference immediately. Wow! Just as I was finishing up spraying, a friend stopped by to chat with me, and I mentioned the problem I was having with urine stink, and she sniffed and said, "Your yard just smells like hay to me." And it was true. After spraying, the yard didn't smell like chemicals, it didn't smell like some sickly fake cover-up, it didn't smell overpoweringly of citronella, it just smelled like warm damp hay. Fantastic! It continued to smell like hay with a light trace of citronella for about three days (and I was only aware of the citronella because it knew it was in there; I doubt anyone else would have been able to pinpoint the faint underscent). my yard is back to smelling the way it did when I moved in, meaning there's no odor at all now, neither hay nor pee, which is perfect. Well, mostly perfect. I know that with herbal yard treatments to control bugs, they have to be repeated fairly frequently. That's just the nature of, well ... NATURE. Herbal treatments and essential oils don't have the long-term residual effect that nasty toxic chemicals do, and for those of us who prefer to stay away from such things, we accept that more-frequent treatment is part of the price we have to pay to not poison ourselves and our environments. I'm okay with that and it isn't a surprise to me. I expected it. So at the same time I purchased this product, I also purchased an herbal yard spray just for repelling insects and I also have several DIY recipes I can make myself with essential oils, so when the citronella in the NATURVET wears off and bugs start showing up again, I'll just do a quick spritz of one of those treatments. No biggie. And when my yard starts stinking of dog pee again, I'm going to buy more NATUREVET, because it worked brilliantly for me and the effect was immediate. What a relief! In fact, it's been so nice, I've been going out in the late afternoons to sit on a new garden bench I put up right next to that area and watch the birds. It all feels so civilized! Lovely.
