This works fine for my application. My louvered bi-folds are from the 70s. They are a bit heavier than modern bi-folds, but not absurdly heavy. These brackets will bend/flex a bit with larger bi-folds. I mounted my brackets in the original pivot holes which placed this roughly 3/16 (between 1/8 and 1/4) inch off the newly install hardwood. The door's weight barely made the bracket touch the floor. This is fine for me b/c it doesn't effect it's use, but they are not 100% rigid and do have just a little flex so keep that in mind. They are adjustable on all three axis and worked well for me needs.

Used just the pivot part assembly (the screw inside its plastic barrel). The wood of our hollow bifold door had longways cracked at the bottom. The cracked wood had allowed the old pivot part to become loose, inset too deep, and wobbly.Symptom was door would not stay fully closed.Had to knock old pivot part into the hollow door. Then glued the wood crack with wood glue and clamped to dryDrilled and inserted two screws in door backside to stabilize around the crack. When glue was dry, reamed the pivot part hole just slightly to accomodate new part. Then inserted the new pivot part which inserted snuggly with firm finger pressure only.Door works fine now.

This product saved me from having to go to the hardware store or the DIY big box place and prevent me from having to buy a new door, with all the headaches that come with that. the plastic part that goes in the door was the only part I needed as the wall/floor bracket was still intact and the the new one that shipped with this was an exact match. I took a hammer and put the new part where the old broken one had been and I seemed to be in business. Reinstalled the door and two weeks in the door is still going strong.
