Will be using this futon frame as more of a couch/lounger, but appreciate that it folds down completely to make a bed platform. My queen size japanese futon fits perfectly. Assembly was easy with the instructions provided in the form of detailed diagrams. The parts are solid quality wood with pre-drilled counter-sink holes and clear coat finish. All hardware and tools for assembly were provided including an "extra parts" bag. Price (including a discount coupon) was reasonable given the quality, multifunction, and design of the product. Overall, would definitely recommend.
