My last moisture meter had prongs that you stuck into the item you're measuring and I just never liked that. I like that this meter doesn't require that, yet still seems to be accurate. I got this because my brother built me a small fence out of pressure treated wood that I wanted to make sure was dry enough to paint. Using this is pretty straightforward and the instruction book is informative, although very small, but maybe the intent was to be able to store the booklet in the nice bag that the meter comes with. I'll pull out the batteries after each use and store those in the bag with everything else. Well worth the price and I think every homeowner should have a moisture meter. You WILL use it eventually. I thought my pressure treated wood was dry enough to paint. It wasn't. This meter saved me a future peeling paint headache.

This moisture meter works quickly and efficiently. The calibration process takes seconds and provides an audible indication when it's complete. Readings are non-destructive and continuous. It records high and low readings and you can set alert thresholds for mid and high moisture levels. Great tool for construction, carpentry, woodworking and other professional and DIY applications. One caveat, this is meant to give approximate moisture levels, quickly and non destructively. For more accurate readings a precision tool is required.

Uso este medidor principalmente en el ámbito doméstico, para detectar humedades en la vivienda, determinar el grado de humedad de la madera para proyectos de bricolaje y el de la leña para evitar un exceso de humo y residuos en la chimenea.La calidad del medidor es buena y tiene la ventaja de que, al ser de sonda y no de pinchos, no deja marcas en las superficies.La precisión tal vez no sea de laboratorio, pero es suficiente para detectar áreas de humedad en un domicilio y tener una orientación sobre posibles fugas de agua, filtraciones y demás y ponerles remedio.Sin ser experto en la cuestión, las pruebas que he hecho dan resultados bastante satisfactorios por lo que supongo que es apto también para profesionales que necesite una medición de humedad a la centésima si no una guía para detectar humedades.Es fácil de utilizar, la única pega es tener que calibrarlo cada vez que se pone en marcha, aunque es un proceso automático que dura unos segundos.Una vez en marcha los datos se ven muy claros en la pantalla y las alarmas sonoras son útiles y personalizables.Incorpora una luz led que, sin ser una linterna, es suficiente para utilizarlo en lugares oscuros con comodidad sin ayuda de otras fuentes de luz.Incluye las tres pilas AAA necesarias para su funcionamiento y una bolsa de tela que, aunque no de los golpes, sí lo protege del polvo. Si no vas a usarlo por un tiempo prolongado es recomendable quitarle las pilas para evitar daños.A mí me ha resultado útil, por 50€ (al hacer la reseña) puedes adquirir un aparato que te puede ser de bastante ayuda para detectar humedades a tiempo antes de que causen problemas o determinar la eficacia de un tratamie

This moisture meter is really straightforward to use and gives clear, accurate readings. The display is bright and colour coded, making it easy to interpret moisture levels at a glance. I really like that it’s a pinless design, so I can scan walls, wood, and other materials without causing any damage. My old moisture meter had two sharp pins that would leave holes in whatever it was you were measuring, which for woodturning I found to be a bit of a pain!Calibration is quick, and the alarm settings are customisable, which is a useful feature. The built-in flashlight is handy for checking darker areas, and the included pouch keeps everything protected. The only slight negative point I can find is that it runs on AA batteries rather than being rechargeable - but at least some batteries are included. Overall, it’s a well-made tool that does a good job, and I'm pleased with my order.

Works well - very happy with this for around the house work. Tested some fresh wood and dried wood and it seemed accurate. Nice tool to have around the house, easy to read display, and very simple to use. Great value for what you get - it penetrates pretty deep as well which is a plus.

I have some areas in the house that I suspect could be damp so I thought this little item would help see if I need to do something. The item runs on three AAA batteries (included) but I believe rechargeable via USB would be better. Maybe batteries on a lower cost unit is better but this is why the loss of a star. The unit was in a thin plastic sheath inside a cloth drawstring bag inside a cardboard box. I think I will remove the batteries when not in use and store it in the cloth bag and box. The multi-lingual instruction booklet is small but covers operations. I tested the unit against some of my trouble areas as well as putting it near a wet wink area. The trouble areas came out dry, according to this, and the sink area showed definite moisture like I knew it would. I also accidentally dropped on the hardwood flood but it was unscathed and still worked properly. I think some extra time reviewing the features will give me ideas on things to check, but on the initial pass I think this unit tells me what I want to know and will be useful in the workshop.

Lo strumento funziona abbastanza bene, non è qualcosa di precisissimo ma dà un'idea su quanto la superficie sia umida.Arriva insieme a un manuale di istruzioni completo di diverse lingue tra cui l'italiano, in più è fornita una sacca per riporre lo strumento durante il suo inutilizzo così da non impolverarlo o sporcarlo, vengono inoltre fornite le batterie per alimentarlo 3 AAA.Una volta lette le istruzioni ed eseguito una calibrazione molto rapida, ho potuto misurare diverse superfici, tra cui una parete, del legno e piastrelle, la misurazione è abbastanza veloce e semplice, basterà porre a contatto la sfera con la superficie e il dispositivo misurerà in modo capacitivo l'umidità presente nel materiale.Volendo si possono regolare le soglie di dry (asciutto), mid (medio) e wet (bagnato), ho messo le foto riportanti la procedura del manuale.In conclusione lo strumento di misura è ottimo, ne consiglio l'acquisto per chi ha bisogno di misurare l'umidità sopratutto del calcestruzzo durante e dopo le ristrutturazioni in modo da prevenire eventuali crepe a causa di lavori frettolosi.

Dieses zerstörungsfreie Induktionshygrometer zeigt neben der Umgebungstemperatur auch den Feuchtigkeitsgehalt eines Messobjekts an.Das Gerät wird bereits mit 3 AAA Batterien geliefert. Nach dem Einsetzen der Batterien und dem Einschalten muss das Gerät kalibriert werden. Dazu drückt man auf der Bedienfläche auf den Button "MEAS". Auf dem Display erscheint nun "CAL", was anzeigt, das das Gerät die Kalibrierung durchführt. Dabei sollte die runde Messsonde am oberen Ende des Geräts einen Mindestabstand von 10cm zu allen Objekten einhalten.Die Kalibrierung ist nach ca. 3-4 Sekunden abgeschlossen und das Gerät kann eingesetzt werden.Zur Nutzung hält man einfach die obere Messkugel - nach dem Einschalten - auf ein beliebiges Objekt, dessen Feuchtigkeit gemessen werden soll.Ich habe das mal für verschieden Objekte ausprobiert. Wie genau das Gerät dabei den Feuchtigkeitsgehalt anzeigt, konnte ich nicht bestimmen, da mir kein geeichtes Hygrometer vorliegt.Einen feuchten Lappen zeigt das Gerät mit 1005 an. Was ja naheliegend ist.Eine Kunsstofffläche wird mit 0% angezeigt - scheint mir auch plausibel.Bei der Messung ertönt alle halbe bis volle Sekunde ein Piep des Geräts und der Messbetrag wird neu ermittelt. Dabei wird im unteren Teil des Farbdisplays der minimale und maximale Messwert angezeigt. Zum temporären Stoppen der Messung, kann die Schaltfäche "MEAS" gedrückt werden. Im Display erscheint "hold". Zum Fortsetzen einfach die Taste noch einmal drücken.In dunklen Umgebungen kann eine kleine "Taschenlampe" (LED) eingeschaltet werden. Eine Umschaltung zwischen C° und Fahrenheit ist auch vorhanden.Ansich macht das Gerät das, wozu es gedacht ist und sieht dabei noch wertig aus. Daher, meine Empfehlung.Für alle, die zum Beispiel Brennholz, Estrich oder eine andere Fläche messen wollen um den Feuchtigkeitsgehalt zu bestimmen, ist der Artikel gut geeignet. Der Vorteil dieser Messmethode liegt klar darin, dass man keine Spikes in das Werkstück pressen muss und so evtl. einem Verkratzen oder Zerstören des Materials vorbeugt.

C'est une mention très bien pour ce testeur d'humidité qui pour moi a le principal avantage par rapport à d'autres modèles de ne pas être destructif avec les surfaces testées.Ce modèle n'est pas constitué de deux pointes mais d'une boule extrêmement sensible qui effectue les relevés. Ils dispose d'un écran très clair et très lisible avec des indications graphiques qui donnent en une seconde la tendance ainsi que le taux d'hygrométrie.Cela marche aussi bien sur du bois que sur du béton, et compareé à un autre modèle dont je dispose déjà qui est un peu plus professionnel, je suis en mesure de dire qu'il donne des mesure fiables à plus ou moins 5 %.Ce modèle est tout à fait recommandable

The Laselion Moisture meter comes with a cloth carrying/storage bag and 3 AAA batteries. The unit measure about 7 7/8" long x 2" wide x 1" thick and fits nicely in your hand. After installing the included batteries, you do a quick calibration of the unit and your ready to measure.In testing various things, it was fast and stable. Shower tiles after a shower was at 24.8, bathroom dry wall was 6.4 and old roof leak ceiling was 4.8 (no leak though on and off showers today).I like the speed, lightweight/size and stability of the unit, the non-destructive ball probe and consistent reading with reparative moisture checks minutes apart. Extremely valuable tool, for me!
