I thought the whole thing was metal but it's not. It feels kind of too lightweight. My monitor almost fell a few times (32) I'm sure smaller monitors should be just fine.

I have a 27" and a 23" monitor attached to this and it all feels very secure and sturdy. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. I would suggest attaching the monitors to the upper arms first and then sliding those upper arms on to the lower arms. It makes it easier when dealing with screws.I have mine clamped to a VIVO desk riser and there is about 2.5"of clearance behind it to the wall. Both screens are 29" away from my eyes. You can definitely have this with a desk right up against a wall and not feel like the screens are right in your face. It just takes some planning on where to put the mounting bracket. I put this together by myself in about 30 minutes. Highly recommended!

We thought this dual monitor set up for our son for Christmas to use for his gaming set up. It’s just what we needed.Important Deets:Flexibility for a variety of desk edges: The adjustable bracket that mounts the unit to your desk is nice and deep. We’d bought another mounting bracket before this one which we had to return because that mounting bracket was just 1/4 inch too shallow to make it around the lip of his desk edge. This one opens wide enough to clear a desk ledge, and then adjusts to tighten with a few quick turns. It’s a sturdy well built unit: we were pleasantly surprised by the high quality metal components. This monitor unit isn’t going to break easily.Hydraulic arms: each monitor attaches to these smooth-movement hydraulic arms, making it easy to adjust the monitors to a variety of positions.A good value: we bought it on sale so for the price, this is a quality piece of equipment.

Putting together the MOUNTUP Dual Monitor Stand was a breeze—probably the easiest “assembly required” task I’ve tackled without ending up in a battle with the instructions. Once set up, the adjustability is impressive! Rotate, swivel, tilt, articulate—it’s like the Cirque du Soleil of monitor stands. As someone working from home, this stand has transformed my desk into an ergonomic haven. My neck and back are already sending thank-you notes. Bonus points for being economical without skimping on quality! The cable hiders are a thoughtful addition, even if I haven’t used them yet—my “organized chaos” cable aesthetic is still thriving. Overall, a fantastic investment for anyone needing flexibility, functionality, and a touch of flair in their workspace!

Absolutely fantastic. If you adjust all joints correctly you will be able to move it freely AND it will stay where you move it to.I was able to completely rearrange my space and make it far more functional.I'd recommend to everyone!

Have space behind your desk to move these around. Initially, you may get the impression that your monitors need to be shoved in your face to be together. I'm telling you now, they don't. Work with it a little, it'll show you. For those who can't spare the effort, push the lower end as far back as it can go, then mess with the top part. That'll push your monitors back a little.I came here from a 20$ monitor stand and found that a 40$ one was more than worth the price. DO NOT cheap out on monitor stands, you WILL get unlucky. Always shop amazon like you're going to get a defective/damaged item(read the worst reviews) and pick the item with the least significant issues.Overall, assembly was easy, massive upgrade from a cheaper monitor stand that people "recommend", and know that movement with your monitors is way easier with these than your typical cheap stands. Looks good, functions perfectly and the build quality is great. Weight is solid too.

The Process for setting up this mount was very easy compared to other's I've used, and the amount of weight it can hold is very good compared to other similarly-priced monitor mounts. The gas springs can sometimes be very difficult to fidget with, but once you have it at your desired level and sturdiness then they move around very seamlessly and work almost flawlessly.

Easy to assemble, I have two 27inch monitor mounted on a wood desk and it is very study. Range of motion could use improvement, but I don’t need to adjust it often, so not a big concern for me.

Review is for the dual monitor stand/ mount...I'm not sure what all the negative reviews are about (unless a valid piston failure). All those that complain about their monitors sagging / falling / can't adjust the tension clearly have no basic idea of how to do such. Yes, it shows a + / - on one Allen bolt, but it is screwed into an adjoining one. Wonder why it's not getting tighter? How about looking at the one on the opposite side that is spinning while you turn it. News flash, it takes two Allen wrenches (which they provide). One to keep the opposite side from turning while you either tighten or loosen the main one. Not that difficult folks. This mount was as easy as it gets to intstall and assemble, which requires almost nothing. It comes pre assembled minus you attaching the mounting plates to the monitors. Hang the monitors on the mount after you install the mount to your desk.I chose the clamp method, with 2 24" monitors and it holds about as tight as you can get. The stand is incredibly well built for the price. I was taken aback honestly. Monitor arms are easy to adjust with endless positioning options. Just be patient and tweak it.For those who complain about it being stuck / tough to maneuver the arms.... it should be tough. Otherwise they would be constantly swinging around/ getting out of whack with the slightest bump. How about you put a bit of effort into it. Someone even gave it a negative review because they have arthritis and couldn't adjust it.... sucks about your medical condition but really, that's the mounts fault? The appearance is great, looks just as tough and sturdy as it is. I would recommend and buy this again no questions asked. For the price point you aren't going to find better unless you spend three times as much.
