Gloss Finish Mod Podge in two 16 ounce plastic bottles. Mod Podge dries clear in approximately 15-20 minutes and can be sanded to a smooth finish. Apply with brush or sponge applicator. Close container after each use. Clean up with water while wet. Once dry, Mod Podge cannot be removed. Use as a puzzle saver, a sealer glue, a quick finish, a textured finish,or a build-up finish." Modge Podge is an essential part of my craft-making. I use it for scrapbooking, decoupage on glass bottles, birdhouses, and several other crafts. It's versatile and I highly recommend it.

As per the title. Water-based varnish might work as well and would be around $12 per quart.

this is the 2nd time this has happened. the ad shows AND states TWO 16OZ BOTTLES. Both shipments arrived this way- two 8oz bottles. and certainly not $20 worth of mod podge

I've been using this liquid coating since the early 70s. But I know these 2 bottles I purchased are far from normal on thickness. I've ruined 1 painting, as it dried white rather than clear. I was hoping it was something new, how wrong I was! Either it was the bottom of the vat or someone mixed it wrong. I'm so disappointed I'll never purchase from here again. I've never ever had a bottle of this pour out in blobs...NEVER! But these were thrown out. I made my way to Walmart to buy from there. Ending up getting the right coverage and it didnt pour in blobs. Ruining 1 of my paintings wasn't cool at all. It's just a good thing I'm a "retired" artist painting for my own walls rather than selling or I'd had a major fit!
