These are great! Heavy duty- I feel confidant my storage building will stay in place during a wind event. We were required to anchor our building due to having an electrical meter attached to the building. Understanding the depth and size of the anchors is crucial when picking some out- as depth, type and size corresponds to the number of lbs the anchors can hold down. With that being said- these anchors aren’t for the faint of heart- you can get them in, with power tools. We have hard, red dirt ( SC) there was no way these will be hand screwed in. You will need to be creative with the tools you have- we used multiple tools during the process to get these in- including a 2x4 to use as leverage to turn. There are several videos online that you can watch on attaching these specific straps, they can be tricky again- you will need specific tools to install. if you have the means, these are a great value and can save you close to 1k for what someone would charge to install for you.

Anchors are effective, I'm still here! However, Amazon's deplorable dealing with a double order, which was entirely their fault, and refusal to refund some $200 because I was outside the time limit, (again their fault) is despicable.Be very careful what you order here particularly when the item is delivered direct from the manufacturer.

..but are a little tough to tension, or at least for me. You need to ratchet the tensioning bolt, then hold the inner square surface so it stays in place. I had to search through all my tools for the thinnest 3/4" wrench I could find to accomplish this. Once I got that sorted it was hard, but doable, and I was able to tension the straps very tightly. Since I used these on a shed building with a wooden skid bottom I drilled a 5/8" hole in the frame brackets and through bolted them to the frame. The instructions on the tensioning are little wonky, but prepare to have a thin wrench on had to get it done.I just ordered another set to make the shed more secure...a near miss from Ian this week gave me religion and I decided to go maybe a BIT overboard! But I feel confident they will do the job.

I have to say at first I was saying what the hell did I get myself into. I have to say these screw in are real workhorse. I just used a 2" X 4" X 24" and no problem at all. Where I screw them in are full of vines and nasty soil. Love it. The bands are super easy. I used these for my shed and works great and looks like a pro.

Exactly what we needed when a neighbor asked to have the tie downs under his mobile home replaced. Delivery was lightening fast, and when we noticed the bolts were missing in the package and called customer service they immediately shipped them, and we received them the next day. The installation was fairly easy and we are certain that mobile home will not "fly away" during a strong storm.
