Great product overall, easy install. I am no mechanic, if i was able to do it, then anybody can. It took me about 20 min overall from start to finish. Directions are pictures only, no written instructions. But after a quick youtube video on another brand, it was easy to figure out. A whole lot cheaper than the MOPAR. So far I find this product great in quality and operation. Would recommend. Installed on a 2021 Ram 2500 Big Horn 4x4.

I ordered this step knowing that there would be modifications. My truck has aftermarket bumpers so the bolts needed to be longer for the step bracket. If you are close to a TSC then you are set.The installation went very well. The step bracket bolted right up. The support bracket required a little massaging because of the non standard bumper. Once that was completed, I bolted it up and the step worked as advertised. I would get this step again and if I have a truck with the standard bumper on it, it would be a breeze to install.

Fit well, easy to install. We will see how it holds up over the years but it seems solid and matches the grips on the ram bumper so it looks good.

This item is very sturdy and easy to install. All mounting holes line up unlike the other step advertised on Amazon. I used the existing hardware that came with the truck and torqued them to the specified values. Much more affordable than OEM and the quality seems to be the same. Great step and hoping it'll be durable.

The step felt like it was a good quality steel product. I only had to remove three bolts put the step assembly into position and install three new bolts and a brace bolt and it was done. I don’t think I even spent an hour start to finish. This is the first time I have ever stepped up into the bed of this 2020 Ram 2500 so it’s like I was seeing things for the first time !! The step is easy to extend with a push from your foot and retracts with a push of your foot, and it tucks nicely up under the bumper. I didn’t have to move any wire harness or anything. The instructions don’t have any written words, only drawing's , but they are simple to follow.

Be careful during install. This thing is spring loaded and will come down on your arm if not careful. No, I was not careful and it came down on me and bruised my are for a few days. I also did not need the bolts hat came with it, but rather used the OEM bolts.

2024 Ram 2500. Very easy to install. used the original bolts from the truck plenty long enough. If wire harness in the way just disconnect from frame move out the way I disconnected the plug witch you do not need to. Then tie warp it to the frame it will not go back in its original spot. I used A 15/16 socket for the large bolt and A 15 mm for the small bolts. WORKS AWESOME.

This step worked great on my 2022 RAM Limited Longhorn. Install seemed a little sketchy at first because of all the wiring harnesses behind the Longhorn bumper for all the sensors. But all you have to do is remove the connector block connection from the plastic "pin" retainer clip, and then slide the mounting bracket around behind the wiring harness. From there, everything bolts up exactly like the instructions say.TIP(S) - Bolt everything (ALL the bolts) loosely before tightening everything up. Secondly, the lower main mount factory bolt (which they tell you to toss in the instructions) actually works better than the new bolt they supply. The new bolt is too long and the washer will not clear the frame cross member, so you can't get it started. I also re-used the giant frame bolt you have to remove for the support bracket. The new bolt they supply is a Grade 8 bolt, but the end is flat; the OEM bolt is tapered, and lining up that bolt through the frame is tricky. The OEM bolt works better, and the new bolt doesn't need to be that long to accommodate the bracket. Some people have said the OEM bolts are a bitch to get out. Honestly, they must be weak, or used too short of a wrench; I had no problems loosening any of the factory bolts. Lastly, you will need a combination of both metric and SAE wrenches/sockets for this job. Oddly, the kit bolts are SAE, and the OEM bolts are metric. You'll need 5/8", 15mm, and 24mm (the giant frame bolt), and you'll need both sockets and wrenches. Install time (once I figured out the harness) was 35 minutes, tops. Pretty easy, and really nice product when complete. I'd recommend!
