I got it for moving my one cat Dante. I haven’t moved yet (I got it early so he could get used to it), so I can’t say anything about its movability, but he loves it! It has more than enough room for him (he is about 13 pounds). A single one would have fit him well, but I got this one because of the portable litter box it has as well as the extra space, so he wouldn’t have to sit in the litter box while we travel. I didn’t hang the hammocks, because he doesn't like the one on his cat tree, but I’m not sure the thing would be able to take his weight hanging off of it. There is a divider in the middle, which I will leave partially zipped so he can access the litter box on one side, and so that I can shoo him to the other side, zip it up, and clean out the box freely without having to worry about him escaping. I would not recommend using this to take your cat to the vet, as it is massive (unless you are taking multiple cats at once), but it should be great for a long road trip. It is lightweight, and decently sturdy. I am concerned about picking it up with him inside as it does not have a solid bottom, but rather pads that offer minimal support. It does have covers that velcro over the windows if your cat prefers privacy.The two windows zip open, as do both sides of the carrier for ease of access.

So we decided to let go of our sticks and bricks home and travel full time in a 45’ fifth wheel with our 2 huge Tom cats and 3 dogs. Our dogs are seasoned travelers but our cats were beginners. I needed a carrier for my 18.5 lb (pictured) and 16 lb cats for travel days. This carrier was perfect! it holds both cats while keeping them separate. It’s gives both cats plenty of room. Sets up super easy and stows away in the included carrying bag easily! It also comes with a portable litter box which I have yet to need but it’s nice to know I have it when and if I do. I really like that you can put the cats in and take them out from the front or the ends of each section as well as fully enclose or leave it openly vented. I will say it is much larger than I expected and takes up the entire back seat of my small suv. It would easily hold two small dogs. One of my boys gets car sick and the covers zip off of the pads and are easily cleaned in the washer, and I sprayed the carrier out with nature’s miracle and the water hose then set it out on the pic nic table to dry and it took no time! This is a great buy for traveling pets and their parents!🙂

Great quality. Well constructed. Spacious. Made a 2 day drive tolerable for 2 large cats that absolutely HATE being in the car for any length of time.Set it up in the back seat of my 2015 Nissan Rogue. There was about 1 foot of clearance on one end and still able to see out the rearview mirror. It would have been outstanding if it came with a smaller zip-on side compartment that the included litter box could fit in.Good buy. Worth the money.

Really impressed - take it out of the carry case, and it pops right up, no assembly required. Really good quality - it was setup across the two back seats of a Pacifica minivan with room to spare. It has two separate compartments that can be closed off with a zipper panel, we ended up zipping it up a few inches to create a separate room for the litter box. Threw in a soft blankie in the other half and was able to have ample room for two cats who had to endure a 3 day drive from Tupelo, MS, to Portland, OR. We kept the Velcro flaps up during the drive to reduce stress on the drive, but were able to open both van doors and let the flaps down so the boys could get a good cross breeze and fresh air while parked at rest stops. The boys were able to potty on the road and move around and stretch. We left it in the back all set up at night while we were in the hotel and it made transfer of the boys from carrier to car to hotel room super easy. Easy to clean, just shake out the litter dust and wipe down with a damp washcloth / disinfectant wipes. Came with a stealth pack flat, zippered covered litter box which we took into the hotel room. Also has water resistant cushions on for each bottom compartment. Whole thing comes in a sturdy carry case which is also water resistant. We are keeping it in the car in case of emergency like wildfire evacuation or similar. Well worth the $.

Took 3 cats on a 18hour road trip in this. Worked fairly well. Cats were very vocal with their compliments. They each had plenty of space and air in this. It was fairly sturdy, but a bit difficult to put in a back seat with 3 heavy cats in it. (23Ibs, 18Ibs, 12Ibs)Easy to store, folds up small.

They sit quietly during car trips and look super comfy. It is pretty large so it can be unwieldy to carry and set up when unfolded.

Great carrier, seems durable and great size. For reference, my cats are 9 lb and 11 lbs. they fit nicely on the hammocks. Looks new......however, when I opened it one of the mats had a little hair/debris on one end but the rest of the carrier appeared brand new. Strangely, there was an opened and empty sauce packet at the bottom of the carry bag which contained the cat carrier and accessories- very odd. Did not return as item seemed unused and not worth the hassle of returning. Will not buy from this seller in the future.

I first wrote this review “Misleading - not completely separate housing for two cats as only has one litterbox. Otherwise seems well made. Haven't used it yet.” and I wasn’t thrilled about the price so I was planning to return but I hadn’t found an alternative for our move interstate. I had the carrier setup in the living room and put a box under one of the hammocks to stabilise it. The hammocks are suited for kittens not so much my 6kg cat - it sinks low and pulls the sides of the carrier. We did training (luring with treats) inconsistently but eventually I gave up because both my cats were hesitant and they often just sat in the bottom. Well, next thing you know it’s time for the 10 hour car trip. In the carrier in the car they went! I sprayed feliway and gave them plenty of gabapentin (an anti-anxiety and mild sedative drug) from the vets. I kept the box under one of the hammocks and cut a hole so they could hide inside. I put the litter box under the second hammock and that left a little wiggle room for the cats to walk or sit next to it. My cats who both avoided the hammocks were now using them but I’m glad I put the box underneath. They were a little restless and swapped positions often - so it was nice they had the freedom to move in this large carrier. Definitely keeping for future trips. Highly recommend, even with its shortcomings.

This is a great carrier for travel. My cat loves it. It has plenty of room to move around during trips and lots of room for litter pan. Just have 1 cat and keep litter pan on one side and kitty stays on the other side. It is quite large, but perfect for travel.
