Got these for our 2000 excursion V10. During 100*F+ weather, it was regularly pushing 200*F temps on the transmission oil. Installed this and the weather hasn't been quite as hot, but have not seen over 160*F since. Very high quality product!

01 F-250 , 7.3L Hualing 11000 lb 5th wheel.I purchased this transmission cooler because my pick up transmission was getting way too warm going over the mountain passes here in OregonThis cooler fit in the replacement area perfectly, I chose to install it from above as I already had my radiator off while I was replacing my fan clutch. Biggest negative issue I had with installation was the threaded clips kept coming off and once the coolers in place, they are a real pain to get the upper ones back on. The hoses are made of a kind of soft rubber. They can kink easy but I was able to route them and zipped tied in place because my radiator was already out.The driver side hose was too short to fit into the existing hose clip on the frame. I just routed it directly to the transmission radiater cooler line. Took 17 quarts to fill transmissionI think I'm going to remove the plastic cowling at the top in front of the radiator every year to hose this cooler fins off.I will update this review next month after I take my 5th wheel on a 1200 mile upcoming trip .Diring my non mountain 1200 mile rought the transmision got no warmer than 145 deg. Even in heavy slow freeway traffic. I am very happy with results.Recent 600 mile run with 11,000 lb 5th wheel the transmission got up to 155 deg in hot weather with slow traffic.

Easier to install from the top. Clamps are not the best quality but the hoses are extremely good quality. Normal driving temperature is steady at 130deg. 40deg drop.

I really like that there was no modification required, easy to install, and high quality.I do wish the transmission lines coming off the cooler were not pointed down, but shouldnt be a problem with flow as to route them the same direction as the old lines there was extra hose provided. I found on the passenger side that the hose has to nearly do a 180 degree turn to use fastory route of transmission lines. I made sure the hose was loose enough to not close off making the turn.I just installed today and will be back with an update after a 2600 mile journy pulling my 36ft 14k lb 5th wheel.Overall for the install I am pleased.

Fit my 2000 F250 like a glove. The only thing bad to say, is I could not find written instructions in the box or online. The only instruction was a YouTube video, which was ok, but I am not a fan of video instructions

Big job went well. Needed to evacuate AC and recharge. I plow on my my land, there is no air flow pushing snow banks , this solves my prob; if I was to drive empty on a frigged Ontario Winter, one will need a rad blanket. No quality issues, none. Ready to tow 5th wheel 4 sure.

Arrived packaged superbly, no damage upon unboxing.Easy installed with basic hand tools and common sense. I removed and replaced the a/c condenser as well.Utilizes mounts in stock location and moves the core further up into the airflow instead of behind the bumper as the factory unit was located. No need to be concerned about the earlier hose failure as the unit came with some very nice quality hoses appropriately sized. This is the unit that Ford should have outfitted the truck with in the first place.I was experiencing trans temps up to 220 + in stop and go traffic. I have purposefully run the snot out of the truck a couple times and have only seen 165 on the gauge in the same traffic conditions.Well worth the cost vs a tranny replacement.
