Used for larger than standard mailbox sizes packages. It is made out of sheet metal.I don’t think this item is worth the price. There are others available, same quality, for less.

Top was dented, mail slot very hard to open and super loud, main package door had a part fall off the first time I opened. Low quality

Loved the thought of making sure my stuff was going to be safe. But don’t expect your delivery people to use it even after you put it in the delivery instructions.
