I was trying to hook up an old Super Nintendo to a vga monitor (with a separate aux adapter for a speaker). I got sound through the speaker, but no video. The snes definitely works, I can hook it up to my big tv with a different adapter, the only problem is that it's so laggy it's unplayable. A smaller tv would work, but I don't have one anymore. I was hoping this would be the least pricey solution.

Bought this to output a laptop to a CRT tv. Did not work. Tried 3 other VGA devices. No output. Also, VGA does not output sound, so why does it include L/R RCA audio ports? Out of curiosity I hooked them up and while the video did not show anything, the audio was powered enough to almost blow the speaker in my device by forcing voltage through the line. Audio out from RCA is not supposed to be powered. Returned it, immediately.
