Seemed nice. Fairly accurate but has Moisture inside on second use making the top of the gauge hazy.

I use the Meanlin Thermometer for monitoring oven temps when making yogurt. I do not place it in the food; it’s from China and they don’t have a great track record when it comes to heavy metals in products.I don’t know that this thermometer is any more accurate than the oven thermometers I own, but the dial is much larger, and so, easier to read accurately.Meanlin 32°-500°F 100° spans 1-1/2”oventhermometer 100°-600°F 100° spans 1/2”It is a bit heavy, but its intended purpose is not for use as an oven thermometer. My use is “off label”.I don’t like electronic thermometers, or any other device that uses batteries when there are perfectly good (sometimes better) mechanical options. Many batteries contain chemicals that contaminate landfills. (Does anyone remember the Wall-E movie?)The thermometer is made in CHINA.

Installing takes a pipe-thread tap and a drill. Not hard, but tedious. Works great on large canner. No worries about food being processed correctly.

odd use, using it to monitor the internal temp of an outdoor flammable storage locker. It's in the shade but have seen other lockers with ruptured cans from the sun and heat. I live in Ohio and you wouldn't think that would be a problem. This let's me rest easier, no guessing about heat build up.

Haven’t installed it yet, but it seems pretty solid. Other reviews have questioned the accuracy, but as you’ll see in my pics it’s pretty spot on. Looks like there’s a screw in the tip of the prong that allows you to adjust it though, just in case. I’m just using this to keep an eye on the temperature of the air in the heat box of the wood furnace. Can’t speak to its durability yet, but I’ll definitely update if anything goes wrong. So far, I’d recommend.Update: Just installed, went in real easy thankfully. So far, way more accurate than the other one I had in there. Very happy with this :)

Buen manómetro pero un poco lento para responder.

Like most thermometers, this one needed to be calibrated. No conductive fill was provided for the Thermometer well to enhance accuracy.
