Casting Roll Form Splints
Make a cast that conforms to the shape of a wrist, ankle or other body area with these casting roll form splints from McKesson. Composed of layers of knitted fiberglass fabric, they have a urethane resin coating that hardens when exposed to water. The layers of coated fiberglass are enclosed within a polypropylene non-woven padding. The complete splint is then sealed in a moisture/air proof foil patch. The all-in-one design allows for easy application and helps save time. Use the included clip on the end of the roll after cutting to help preserve the roll's moisture between uses. Not made with natural rubber latex, the casting splints are safe and suitable for sensitive skin.

Form-Fitting Casting Roll Form Splints
Easy to Use
Utilize the casting roll form splints in a range of applications including the setting of fractures and breaks. They are double sided so either side can face the skin of the cast recipient. The stretchable polypropylene padding is easy to open to add comfort and cushioning and also assists in achieving a correct fit. With center stitching consisting of seven layers of fiberglass, only a small amount of water is required to activate the resin.
Form Fitting
Apply water to the casting rolls to begin the process of hardening the resin. While still flexible and before hardening, the fiberglass rolls conform to bodily contours and the shape of the wrist and other areas. After the resin hardens, the finished cast retains its shape to hold the appendage or extremity in place to support full and complete recovery. They are not made with natural rubber latex to be safe for sensitive skin.
Easy to Store
Preserve the resin of the casting rolls by keeping the unused portion in the included foil wrapping. They unroll by hand to allow for precise measuring and cutting of just the amount needed to keep waste to a minimum. After cutting, the included clips seal the opening at the end of the foil to keep the remaining casting roll ready for the next application.
