I ordered this yesterday from Amazon because the reviews seemed to be reasonable and it would be delivered next day. We're taking a trip starting on Sunday and my Lake Country backing plate came apart on me as I was in the middle of polishing the car. I have to say that I'm extremely disappointed. The backing plate wobbles when spun in the da polisher which means that the backing plate surface is not perfectly parallel with the surface that bolts up to the polisher. This defect in itself renders the pad unusable. Another thing that I noticed as a serious negative with this pad is the independent bolt that fits through the center of the backing plate and then needs to be threaded into the polisher. I can tell you that this is a huge pain. The Lake country is easy to spin on and off while you hold the polisher in place with a wrench. This thing requires you to hold the polisher head in place and at the same time use an allen wrench to tighten things up. I definitely do not recommend this backing pad.

Don't waste your time. They keep sending the wrong one. I order the long throw, they send the short throw with the black text. The short throw version has a captive bolt, I need a center hole so I can tighten it down with an allen wrench. Maxshine is basically too stupid of a company. They put a sticker on the package indicating the wrong item.

Bought this so I can use my existing collection of 5.5" pads on the Bauer Long Throw polisher I recently picked up. This backing plate was the perfect design. You have to reuse the Bauer bolt instead of the included bolt; they are different thread specs.

Perfect fit to swap the 6 inch backing plate on my workpro DA polisher so my 5" Rupes bigfoot pads will fit. Shout out to ya boy iamjoshv on YouTube for the recommendation will be stepping up to the Maxshine DA once I feel comfortable that I can justify the price.

Bought for a Chicago Electric 8mm DA I picked up second hand. Original backing plate was 6". Works well so far and I didn't modify the counterweight at all. Not much vibration.

Esta bien, pero por el precio hay mejores como la Nanoskin, el tema de esta placa de respaldo es que está torcida, soy de los que le tocó comprar una con ese defecto.
