For being a cheaper option compared to other coilovers, this set is decent, rides smooth, still a lot of room to lower even more on my integra!

97 civic ex coupe. In the past, I've always bought those coilover sleeve conversions because they were cheap but took a chance on these maxpeedingrods full length coilovers and wow! Any height you set your ride height to rides smooth like stock! I have it set to about 1/2 inch gap between the fender and tire. I did make sure the preload on the springs were set properly. I have the dampening set to 16. Oh I had to tighten the top nut that holds the whole assembly together but that was the only issue. Install was easy and they look great! 10/10 product.

Overall, I like these coil overs. fits nice and had no issues installing. I have them installed at the highest ride adjustment so it's only lowering the car 1.5 to 1.75 inches. my issue is with the spring rates. the coil overs are listed as 8kg per mm springs both front and rear. That works out to 450-pound springs in US units. Most people understand that in a front wheel drive car the majority of the weight is in the front of the car. That should let you know that you will need different spring rates in the front compared to the rear. That being said, the 8kg spring rate in the back would be good for track day use but is very firm for everyday street use. With one turn of preload and only one click of dampening they are very harsh. The 8 kg spring rate in the front is nice for street use and too soft for track day use. Different springs will be needed to make it perfect for both light track use and street driving. I will be ordering different springs to try from hyperco. 7kg rear springs and 9kg front springs would give this coil over kit much better balance in my car, a 2000 civic hatchback. The car rotates too quickly now to the point of oversteer if pushed. Maybe 8kg rear springs would work better in a coupe or sedan with a speaker box in the trunk and more weight behind the rear axle.

The max speeding rods coil overs for my 2000 Honda civic ex copie work great . Installation was easy came with all hardware. After I installed it I had to readjust the height of the coil overs to make the height equal on all sides . Driving it for the first time was a bit bouncy so I readjusted the damper by setting it to the stiffest setting. They work great now. To me almost stock feel when driving over bumps . Over all great coil overs for the money now hope they last a long time as I only have had them for 2 weeks .

Its good but I receive only one adjustable for the sleeves. I order the before and same product and it was good except right now I just receive only one for the adjustable

Not only did these make my car look way better by lowing it properly, but I was amazed at how well it handles now. The ride is awesome. I really like the adjustable dampers as well - it makes a considerable difference changing the ride from smooth to tight. Excellent product and great value!
