I have a German Shepard and a Great Pyrenees- St. Bernard mix. This brush makes helping remove the thick undercoat a breeze for the hot humid Southern summers. The ergonomic handle is a life saver especially with my arthritis. My mother is a professional dog groomer (show dogs and pets,) and this is the same one she has used for the last 15 years! It’s a great value, wonderful performance, helps with pain, and is pretty light weight when compared to other double rake brushes I’ve seen. Love this! Will buy again if this one ever gets lost! :)

I use this rake often when brushing out long haired dogs. It works nicely in getting through long fur.

This brush is great for both our Husky and our Pyreneese mix. It is best for the thicker parts of the fur, and you do have to be careful not to yank any tangles, but it works well and removes hair you didn't know existed.

This is perfect for a gentle but thorough way to remove undercoat.I have four collies and this is the best tool! It is so effective I keep the soft fur that comes off the save for felting and spinning projects.Seriously, it doesn't pull, it makes for happy time together, and ,makes grooming fun.

First time I've used a rake, and one with double rows no less! This removed so much more undercoat and loose fur than a comb! I have 2 Shelties, and this rake is my new best buddy! Very easy to hold and manipulate due to the easy to grip handle, which I appreciated all the more working on the second dog. It has very sturdy plastic teeth and is well made. I'm extremely happy with my purchase, and recommend this rake highly. Note to others....don't rake the dogs sitting in front of an a/c vent!!! Didn't think about it, and once you get going you don't want to stop, but the first time was a storm of blowing fur! I use a comb and slicker brush regularly, but this rake was something else!

Very nice double-row rake brush, the handle is very nice and easy to grip with my arthritic hands and the main reason why I purchased this rake. It seems to be well built and light, the teeth are rounded so no scratching the dogs skin and with the head is fairly wide so you brush more per stroke, and teeth being all metal the teeth should stay firm and I place with frequent and long use. I particularly like that the row of teeth are slightly varied in height with the back row of teeth being taller (~ 3/4" long) than the front teeth(~1/2"). I just wish the teeth were a little longer as I have an older heavier Le Salon double rake brush that has longer teeth (1" and 3/4" long) that you cannot get anymore and it amazing what a difference the slightly longer teeth have for raking through the thicker double under coat of my Keeshond, who has an exceptionally thick under coat. This rake is good for the less thick areas of my dogs double coat or to brush to over areas after I have gone through an area with the longer toothed rake that penetrates the deeper coat to the skin. This rake picks up the fur fairly well and is very easy to clean. I find that using some dog fur de-tangler or de-shedding spray helps prevent pulling in the thicker areas and keeps the fur in the brush so there is less flying around. The brush head itself is easy to clean provided you have a cloth or light brush (IE tooth brush) that fits between the rows of teeth. If your dog has a very long, thick double coat this brush is a little harder to use and you will probably need another brush/ double toothed wide comb to go through the coat first but overall it is a nice brush and given that I knew the length of the teeth before buying it I am very satisfied with it; as it is better than a lot of the double rake brushes (non-bladed brushes and rakes) I have tried which are a must with a double coated dog (the single rake I have tried just did not do the job well enough and pulled the dog's fur much more). I have a double rake brush with rotating teeth not a Master Grooming one, that has the same length teeth as this Master Grooming Double-Row Rake, but I am not that happy with it (the rotating teeth make a noise which my dog is not very fond of especially around her head) and I usually only use it after I have brushed with one of my other rakes/combs to catch the loose fur if I am not using de-tangler spray.

Very nice tool. My labs hair came out quickly and she seemed to enjoy the texture of the brush. It does cover a large surface area, so you are able to get done quickly!
