This poacher is designed with the chef in mind with plastic lifters for the individual cups and the ability to remove all the parts for cleaning. Works well and easy to use.

It is a great product. Works for other cooking besides egg poaching.

Improvement over the last one I had bought a few years ago. Egg cups are deeper, lid closes better. I’m happy with this egg poacher.

The pan itself is durable and good quality however the little egg cups are poor quality very cheap quality and while they are non stick egg residue does stick to these cups and is a bitch to clean out! SO SPRAY the cups with Pam before using!

A bit cheaply made, but works very well. Not so cheap it makes me worry about durability or anything.First try I got four perfectly poached eggs at about 3-1/2 minutes of cooking. They do come out shaped like the cups and flat on one side, so if you are looking for that perfect presentation, you migh want to just perfect your regular poaching technique. But, if you want to poach quickly, this is great. Works on 1/2 an inch of water in the pan, so it comes to a boil in no time, then let the cups warm up for a minute or so and you are ready to poach. You'll have finished eating them long before a normal pot of water would even have boiled. The eggs scoop out easily enough with no sticking - lightly oil or butter them first, and use a plastic spoon and they slide right out.
