This is an outstanding product. At first, I was disappointed with it being made out of plastic, however, as I got to using it, I realize that any other construction would have been counterproductive metal and hinges would have created more problems For the money, it is well worth it.

This drywall mud spatula is adjustable and worked really well on a lot of different corner angles.

This tool was too flexible to be effective when smoothing the joint compound.

Great for when corners aren’t 90 degrees because you can adjust it

Bought this because I have some strange angles on my ceiling and hoped it would work since it's adjustable. One it came in 2 pieces, missing the wingnut and washer so had to find one to fit it.The sides are a soft bendable plastic so they really don't work at all, they just bend if you put any pressure on them at all while holding the handle. It kind of works if you put your fingers behind the plastic to give it extra support but that's really awkward and hard to make a nice smooth crisp corner.

Spatule très pratique pour les rampants mais beaucoup trop souple. C’est malheureusement compliqué pour sens servir sans qu’elle plie

This did the job for my odd angled walls (135 degrees about). It is not as sturdy at the top, so you have to push on it more with your free hand. Still, it did the job of smoothing out the inner corners to have a better finish, so I do recommend if you have a similar situation.

Una gozada para que las juntas de 145° salgan parfectamente rectas y rellenas al unísono. Una pena no haberlo conocido antes, me habría ahorrado muchos quebraderos de cabeza.

Most angle trowels are for 90 degree corners. For other angled ceilings and walls, it's nearly impossible to find the right trowel, though the pros do it fine with regular tools. I am NOT a pro. This adjustable trowel.works great. I wish I'd found it a long time ago. Some pros criticize it because it's made of nylon, and with heavy use they say the tip starts to wear out. For a casual user like I am, it will last longer than I care. Highly recommended if you've been frustrated by those broad corners. BONUS: it doesn't rust !!!

Thus far, this is the best solution I've found for varying angles. Most pros will just use a flat knife, but using an angled trowel gives you the advantage of a nice, clean line. Also, using a straight knife doesn't force the compound into the corner as tightly, creating a much greater risk for pockets, which will dramatically weaken your joint. The only problem with this trowel is that it is plastic and flexible. When you tighten up the angle, it forces the plane to skew slightly, and round the leading edge, leaving you with somewhat of a rounded corner.I have a 1907 1-3/4 story house, so I have 45's EVERYWHERE, and being that it's an old house, none of the angles are uniform. That's why this makes a nice addition to my toolbox.

I had a 135* angle to mud in my attic. I'm a DIYer and that was my first attempt at it. I finally broke down and purchased this, and it did make it easier since I could do both sides of the joint at once. However, it's plastic. It gives. It's a bit cheap, especially considering it's Marshalltown. I wish it would have been stiffer, or better yet - metal. But it worked for what I needed.

I bought this product to finish the odd angles that result when finishing a knee wall. It worked well. I only wish I had bought it before I did my first tape coat. It is made of plastic, but I don't think you could have a metal blade and have a smooth finish without anything but plastic due to the "hinge" area. The plastic allows a smooth continuous rounded hinge with no edges. Worked well for me.
