The MAISHI 99.99% Red Copper Mesh Panel works well as a Faraday cage for cellular! Simply wrapping your phone in the copper mesh will eliminate nearly all the signal.

I was able to use this to block a keyfob RF signal from within a lockbox. The wire was easy to cut even with a good pair of sturdy scissors.

I ordered this copper mesh because I wanted to use this for testing RF shielding. Unfortunately this was mailed and packaged very poorly arriving bent and warped. The size of this mesh screen is small but it should be handy for simple tasks and tests.

It’s right here. This copper screen seems to be of pretty good quality and could be useful for RF (radio frequency) shielding applications of orifices. However, the 8.2x11.8” size isn’t large enough for a lot of such uses. I plan to keep this with my HAM radio stuff for shielding holes in homemade radio gear. Could also be useful as a ground plane for small UHF antennas above 1.4 GHz.

This is very nice thick copper mesh. I will be using it around a hole to keep mice from entering. Mine did come folded in half, so the mesh is creased, but I think the Amazon shipping department did that--the copper is flat in the manufacturer's packaging. Since I'll be folding mine anyway, that's not a problem for me. If I were using it in a project where it would be exposed, that would have been upsetting, so I thought it worth mentioning.

Unfortunately, this copper screen got a little creased in the mail on its way to me. It could have been worse though; it was not bent so badly as to be completely unsuitable, so I could still use it.The copper mesh is exactly as specified. I don't know why one of the product listing photos had the words "stainless steel crimped mesh", because it's definitely solid copper.I wish the panel were a little bigger, it's not cheap for the size (but copper is expensive right now anyway).

I use an antenna to receive local digital OTA signals (picture 2). For the most part, it works well. However, we are in the flight path of a major airport, and when planes fly over, their electronics cause on-screen pixelation, sound distortion, and other issues. I have a reasonable understanding of Farraday cages and thought I could use the principles to resolve my reception issue. That's why I grabbed this product. The copper wire and mesh construction quality is excellent (picture 1), and the installation was simple; I laid it on top of the antenna (picture 3). The results so far are promising, with as much as 90% reduction in signal interference.I can envision other uses for this nice product, such as protecting credit cards and other wirelessly accessible data from illicit RFID scanner use. If you need to prevent critters from entering your home through openings, you can use a piece of this mesh cut to the proper size and either stapled, glued, or friction fix in place. Speaking of cutting, you can trim the mesh to size with a sturdy pair of scissors or a craft knife. This is a great product that adapts to a variety of uses. You'll love this product if you have any of the uses mentioned or can think of your own.
