the arms on the set I got were bent (so the two arms hit each other where they crossed. tested them on 3 different sets of 990 mounts with the same results.) I could have ground the arms a bit to create clearance, or just used them with them rubbing - but neither of those is particularly safe for a brake....sure sign of poor QC, sadly.also - for a front brake setup, these are kinda goofy. the adjuster has a bullet nose piece that sits in either side, and is a solid block sticking out around 1 inch at it's shortest. fairly easy to dislodge since it doesn't "lock" into place any way except by return spring pressure. the hombre/gordo I suspect is similar, but at least the adjuster piece isn't as long (from what I've seen).returned mine.
