These seem high quality but too large for some installations and I'm not sure they do much additional cooling. I had to shave down the corner of one to make it fit a tight spot. And, they add strength to flimsy M.2 cards, like they're in a little suit of armor.

I bought this to use with a 2TB Team Group M.2 SSD. Little did I know, but those SSDs die due to heat. This heatsink installed easily. No need to overthink the lining up of the silicone pads. Just peel off the plastic protection and position them on the SSD. The silicone is somewhat adhesive, but not sticky. It can be repositioned easily. Anyway, the temperature of the SSD held steady even when copying to it at 1-2 GIGABYTES per second. I recommend this heatsink and may pick up another one for the other SSD in my system.

The kit come with everything you need. A mini screwdriver and even screw for the SSD installation. Installation took me 2 minutes, easy and quick. This cold down the SSD as expected. Highly recommend for the price.

Super easy to install and lowered temps on a 1TB Samsung M.2 NVME by 5C. This is in a system with an overclocked 9900k + 3080ti so it creates massive heat. I'd imagine it'll lower by a bit more if installed in a system with lower tdp components.

This is smaller than I was expecting, but it reduced the temps on my 970 Plus 1TB drive significantly. The controller went from reporting 80c+ to a max of around 55c. I did not remove the drive label, Samsung claims that it is a thermally conductive label. I did see a couple spots on the back of the bracket that were within touching distance of electrical hot spots on my motherboard. It might not have touched, but a little kapton tape in those areas will prevent shorting if they do touch.
