This Pico wireless paddle switch allowed me to add a 2nd garage light switch st the other door by pairing it with a "Claro" smart switch in place of the original light switch. Excellent!

Absolute genius design. Incredibly easy to set up and mount. All of the Lutron stuff I’ve recently installed was a breeze. The ability to have another switch in any location you desire without running wires is so awesome. Hopefully he battery holds up for a decent amount of time. Have ordered another one for a different switch and location.

I like how you can mount it into a switch box or to the wall, and it doesn't stick out. It looks really nice, and the price is great. Except you can't use it by itself, so what's the point? I have smart bulbs and I thought I'd be able to use this to control them with home assistant, but no. It doesn't pair with the hub, it only pairs with other switches.I also don't like how it feels. It's almost flush with the wall, and it's hard to find the switch by feel alone. It's also hard to tell if you've pressed it by feel alone, because it's very quiet. So quiet that if you have it installed over a switch box, you can hear the hollow space behind the remote. If it worked without a switch, I would've used some of these remotes, in spite of its shortcomings, but it just doesn't work for my use case.

I love how easy it is to program, integrate and install a Pico remote. These are wireless and require a battery. A per Lutron the battery should last for 5 plus year. Let's see how that goes. The primary point is, in matter of minutes you are able to program and install several of these in strategic locations. No need to pull run wires through walls -cutting into walls and/or hire a contractor to do the work.NOTE: For this to work , it does require installing a Caseta light switch that is physically connected to the electrical wires to turn the light on/off.Our place lacks a switch on the top floor to turn off the light in our main entry foyer. You had run up and down stairs if your forgot to turn off the light before coming up. Similarly no switches near the bedrooms to turn on the hallway light on the top floor. Looks like a any other switch in your home.Love it.

I purchased this brand cause they support HomeKit and Ring. I’ve have nothing but stable consistent functionality with this line of switches and remotes, and the remote batteries last a really long time! You can gang switches together, create remotes of other switches or groups of switches, you can customize the LED behavior, create timers that turn off lights if left on, trigger lights to turn on from motion from Ring devices, and create schedules and scenes. Endless possibilities. You can also calibrate dimming range, which is imperative for certain types of bulbs. They are not the cheapest, but they are undisputedly the best.

Could not pair my new style paddle remote with Diva dimmer so that on first press on remote the dimmer goes to its pre set level, it always went to full brightness. If your using a Lutron hub it will update the firmware and will work correctly, either that or purchase the dimmer and remote as a kit as they are pre programmed to work correctly, minor issue, other than that installed fine.

Love the convenience to turn these off remotely. I am slowly replacing almost all of the switches in my home to Lutron smart switches. My only disappointment is that the Lutron switches are so much more expensive than similar others. Why? I started with Lutron and have to continue with that brand despite the price. The other thing is I wish they sold these switches without the wall plates. I am left accumulating single wall plates that I cannot use. My switches are all in two or three gang configurations for which single wall plates are useless
