Pole is well constructed using light-weight materials. Even though it's not hospital-grade, it should last a long time for home IV therapy.

This works perfectly for my sister since she's bed ridden at home it's just not as sturdy as a hospital type but it's the closest to it

Sturdy with a good solid base. This pole can handle a 2400ml TPN bag. A good medical buy.

It holds a 1900ml bag of TPN. Do not get the 4 leg for this heavy stuff. This one was great.

The metal part of the stand is much sturdier than my previous pole. But the plastic top cracked in less than a week of use. It has only had one bag of formula hanging on it during that time, and I was not rough with it at all. I'm really disappointed given the price. I expected the plastic piece to last much longer than a week.
