I’ve been using Lontan drawer slides for about 5 years now. Since they switched over to all metal slow close mechanisms, they have been great. I build cabinets for many people over the years and no one has come back and had a complaint about these slides. Installation is easy, and allowed very little ball bearing slides make them smooth to open and close. The only knock I have is the the screws that come with it are a bit long for the 1/2” wood I use for drawers. That’s an easy fix for me because I buy a box of screws to replace them as I go. The slides themselves are great.

Replaced several cheap sets in dressers with these. They should last forever. The construction is like the high quality slides. I'll get some more.

At first I thought these weren't going to go on. But carefully aligning them and "wiggling" got them on over the slides. Not easy to move them back and forth to get them just the right distance but with some judicious tapping with a mallet got them where I needed them. Maybe an oil or other lubricant would have helped.

The overall quality is quite good, but the soft-close trigger action is not as smooth as a Blum slide. However, I couldn't find a side-mount Blum product so I selected the Lontan product based on good reviews.There were no installation instructions included, but I am experienced in installing drawer glides. The included screws were fine, but were flathead, so they must be exactly set if you use a round (not slotted) hole. As with any side-mount, you must have the mounting surfaces perfectly aligned with a 1/2" gap on each side of the drawer to accommodate the slide. If you experience any binding, check all dimensions and make sure there is no bowing or twisting of the slide caused by your mounting surfaces being out of plum or square. I had some issues due to my cabinet partitions being a bit skewed and used shims to bring everything into alignment and that made these slides work much better.

When they work, they’re great! Smooth and soft close, easy to install. However sometimes they close all the way and sometimes they don’t. It’s the last 1/2” where the drawer slide will get stuck and you have to force the drawer to shut all the way back. Wouldn’t recommend for a nice kitchen remodel as they don’t glide perfectly close but maybe for shop cabinets they’re fine. Had I done more research I’d choose bottom mount soft close for our kitchen remodel.
