I am super happy with these! Yes, they are just scissors. But, the last couple pair I have purchased sucked (one junk set form dollar store, another giant all metal pair that was way too clunky and hard to use). I was missing a good ol' pair of decent sized, easy to use scissors... and these are it! They handle is a plastic that has a slight rubber texture to it, and are very comfortable to use. The blades are appropriate sized and cut well. And, the blue pattern makes them really cute! :)

What I like:1---They are sharp, and I do mean sharp. They cut easy and a nice clean cut.2---They are aqua green. Yeah, I know, it's the simple things. They also have other colors to choose from so pick your favorite.3--Can I say once again how easy they cut!! There are so many things around the house that I need nice sharp scissors for.4--The price seems in line with other scissors I've seen.5--They are nice and light to hold.Nice scissors for a reasonable price.

The handle is nicely curved and easy to handle for medium and smaller hands. People with larger hands might find them a little harder to use comfortably, but should still be usable.The blades are nice and sharp and will cut through at least 3 layers of card stock fairly well.The action is smooth but snug so that it's easy to use, but does not allow thin paper or other material to twist and go between the blades instead of being cut.There is a screw that holds the blades together which can be tightened if blades ever become loose.The coloring looks nice.

I ordered these scissors to keep in my room, as I kept using my fabric scissors for things other than fabric (I know, I know, I can hear the sewing community coming after me from here...). These are good, sharp scissors that will take care of whatever every day household use you might have for them. The handle is very light and obviously plastic. I admit that I do prefer a full-tang for scissors, but considering that these are just for household use, I don't see that as being a problem. Overall, these will handle the day-to-day tasks that the average person encounters. I do highly recommend these scissors.
