I’m a hot sleeper who has been having hot flashes for some time now. Anyone who has hot flashes knows that you go through a cycle of throwing all the covers off and sweating then becoming freezing cold and covering back up until you wake up hot again, and throwing the covers back off. My daughter told me about this blanket and my sleep quality has never been better. I sleep Directly under this blanket, I have a fan blowing on me at about a medium speed, and if I get chilly during the night, I can pull a sheet over this vented blanket and I go right back to sleep. No other covers are necessary and I stay comfortably warm and not overly hot. My daughter sleeps under only this comforter and no other bedclothes. No more throwing the covers off and on all night long! I was a skeptic, and it took me a little while to be convinced to buy this comforter, but I’m so glad I did! I haven’t washed it yet, So I can’t speak to how well it cleans. It’s is about an inch thick. It’s very soft and silky, and it seems to be good quality and a good value for the money. I have a queen size bed and the full comforter fits all the way across my bed with even a little extra on the sides.I have already recommended this to my sister.

Keeps me warm but not overheated when the room is cool and the Airconditioning is running and my body temperature drops overnight while I'm asleep. The Mesh Squares definitely help! 25 of them on the Queen Size.I believe this comforter will also work in the winter when the heat is on to keep me warm and cool but not overheated or cold. Will update again in the Late Fall/ Winter.I have put it in a 100% cotton duvet cover as everyone has suggested, since it is breathable and that way it doesn't get dirty. I also have a Lyocell sheet that I place between the duvet and myself so as to not dirty the duvet cover thereby not having to wash it too often either.Overall I am extremely satisfied with the Duvet/ Comforter and was pleased with the shipping process, price and the condition that it arrived in.

I am a notorious insomniac. About a year or so ago I purchased a goose down comforter. It was not one of heavy ones, it was quite lightweight actually. I live in the South so I don't need something to keep me from freezing to death. I really liked the comforter but I found that I was kicking it off then pulling it back over me several times a night. In the summer I couldn't stand it at all. Last weekend I spent an entire Saturday night fighting with it. Sunday morning I was on Amazon searching for lightweight, cool, down comforters. This one looked promising! The design looked like it made sense and the price was certainly right so I decided to give it a try. I received it on Monday and slept under it Monday night. OMG! That was the best night of sleep that I have had in ages! There was no fighting with the covers, no tossing and turning, no burning up or freezing, just sleeping. In fact I don't think I even moved. I have a full sized bed but the comforter I was replacing was a queen size so I ordered the queen size of the Climabalance. It fits perfectly in my queen sized duvet cover. Just go ahead and click the "ad to cart" button you won't regret it. I'm not picky about a lot of things but I am picky about my bed linens and this product gets a perfect score from me.

Tired of paid or comped reviewers for their "honest" opinions? Me too! I bought & paid for this comforter & I'm providing this honest info so you can decide to purchase or not. I've suffered from severe night sweats for years but I love snuggling under a comfy cozy comforter! Sleeping under a sheet isn't for me! I searched, researched & settled with this option. I'm happy to report that it is MUCH cooler to sleep under than anything I've found to date, including 100% cotton quilts. It doesn't have significant weight to it & the fabric used is very soft! It is "unique" looking & can be put inside a duvet cover. Linen duvet cover here I come!! It's laid on top of my King Size duvet cover here. I've slept like a baby with this inside the duvet cover. I've only over heated one time in the last month, which used to be nightly with my quilt! The comforter kept shifting in the duvet cover so I decided to sew on some twill tape to keep it from sliding around in the duvet cover. Unfortunately due to the inadequate size, it'll take much longer tie downs than I had planned. The comforters advertised size & delivered size are not the same. I do have a 3" mattress topper on the bed but even without it I doubt this would hang down at all based on the measurements. My S.O. says I'm a cover hog with this & he is left with nothing, based on the measurements I'm not surprised! Overall I'm very happy & pleased with the cooling qualities of this blanket. However I'm unhappy that I got cheated out of several inches of blanket!
