First order never showed up. Contacted Amazon customer service and they shipped me another switch. It arrived the next day. Thank you Amazon. The timer switch is excellent. However you will need the neutral wire (white) which is not included as it is with other timer or smart switches.

Easy to install, and does the job. Be noted, that neutral is a must.

Used in Bathroom. Max setting of 2 Hrs is just perfect. It has the option to display time left - very convenient.

Using this to control the time of our bathroom vent fan. This is a really nice understated timer switch. The LEDs at the bottom only come on long enough to let you know the time chosen. Not like some whose LEDs annoyingly light up the bathroom.Pressing and holding the bottom button for 8 seconds (approximately) when starting the fan in manual is a plus. Some timer switches don't have a manual/constant on setting. You will be very happy with this choice.Remember, you will need 4 wires, hot from power, neutral, hot to fan (red), and ground.Worth every penny.

Currently being used to control a bathroom outlet so there is no chance of leaving on curling irons/straightening irons. Time options are great for my uses. No problems 2 months in but I will update if I experience any product failures.

So glad we installed this timer for our guest bathroom fan. Set it for ten minutes, push the button on the way out and forget it!

My dryer vent goes through the attic to exhaust on the roof. It is a long run so years ago I installed a booster fan to help the dryer vent more efficiently and installed a relay from the dryer to control the booster fan circuit which worked well for several years. The relay seemed to fail so bought another similar one which again would not work. So I decided to install a switch but with a timer so i wouldn't forget to turn the booster fan off (hardly hear it int he attic). My only comlaint with this switch is that I was hoping the blue led lighs would remain on as long as the switch was energizing the cricuit but the lights go off in a couple of seconds. So I will be reinstalling the light I had on the circuit before . The wiring of the switch is very easy with guide holes to the screws for the hot, load and neutral wires so no wrapping is necessary. Also there are two guide holes for each of the screws which will make it easy to wire in the light. I've only had it for a short time so cannot testify to it's longevity.

This is probably the first non-Vine, honest review so, yeah - I paid for mine.Brilliant design note here, which actually goes against the electrical industry "norm". Where Pass & Seymore, Leviton, Lutron, GE, and Woods (including many others) all have strip the wire and stab it in electrical connections on the back of the device, the wire is captured by a spring, which can be released to remove the wire if necessary (with varying degrees of success), along with screw terminals. Some do this better than others. What makes the electrical connection on this device unique, and all others should follow suite, is that you have two holes (per connection) where you can simply strip the wire 1/2" and stab it in BUT it's not spring loaded, you tighten the screw to pull a capture nut within the device onto the internal contact surface. This means if you didn't get your wiring right the first time through, loosen the screw and you can easily reset your wiring. Bonus! Now for why I removed a star. I've seen this used on several other timers and it's irritating/annoying. This product could have easily been 5-stars but for one thing, when you turn the timer on, say 15-minutes, the timer comes on, and the far left LED lights up along with the associated LED time you've set, although it only comes on for about 5-seconds. Then it goes completely dark. I assume because I set it for 15-minutes that the timer will turn off in 15-minutes, but how does someone that comes in after me know how much time is remaining, or how can I confirm which timer I set? So while most functions on this are very good and it's a good timer it falls short because it doesn't display a countdown. Lutron does this part well. One more thing and this is pretty important for some users. This switch works perfectly with a Panasonic WhisperQuiet fan. This fan only draws .4 amps on startup so it won't work with most timer switches. I suspect because this fan requires a neutral wire is why it works, regardless many timers won't.
