So these drum sticks are made out of acrylic, which means that I think if one were to play them as hard as a normal pair of drum sticks, they would be toast in minutes. That being said, if you go a little easy on them, the light effect is really cool. If you need style over substance, these will definitely get you some cool points, just don't expect them to last for ever or replace your regular drum sticks.

These sticks are great fun. I gave them to my 7 year old to use when practicing on his drum kit and he really enjoys the LED lights.He says they don't feel the same as the wooden sticks and are heavier, but that doesn't bother him at all, as he's only a beginner.The light slowly changes between the different colours when turned on, and they immediately change to the next colour if they hit a surface. They recharge using a USB C port at the end of the sticks.

The led effects are decent. They change color on a timer or when you hit the stick on something. You can't just set a color and have it on solid though. The sticks would be good for a show or demo, but are not very functional as actual drum sticks. They have a very plasticy sound and transfer all the vibration right up into your hand. There is very little rebound to them, so basic rudiments are difficult to perform.
