This scoop is amazing. As soon as I got it, I tried it on some very hard frozen ice cream. It actually works very well.

This is really nice. It recharges by USB, so it's easy to keep charged. When you hold the handle, it starts to warm up, reaching maximum heat after a few minutes, which makes it easy to scoop hard frozen ice cream. When you set it down, including on the stand that comes with it, it turns off.I only have two points where it could be better, neither of which is serious. It's not dishwasher safe, so I recommend wiping this down immediately when you're done with it so ice cream doesn't harden on it, and while it comes with several plugs to make the USB charge port somewhat water resistant, I'd like it better if one were attached by some kind of cord so it would be easier to keep with the scoop.

Love this ice cream scooper! It looks great. The chrome is smooth and shiny. The handle feels solid and the scooper definitely has some nice weight to it.To turn it on, you just hold the scoop handle and it automatically starts to heat up.1 minute, approximately 115°2 minutes, approximately 130°3 minutes, approximately 140°4 minutes, approximately 150°4 and 1/2 minutes, to max heat 158°When you're finished, set it on the silicone stand that it comes with and then it will automatically turn off in about 35 seconds. Even though the scoop will be very hot when you set it on the stand, silicone can withstand 400° give or take, far more than the maximum heat of the scoop.The scoop works Great! Goes through cold hard ice cream like a knife through butter. I highly recommend it!

Superb device! This ice cream scoop is heated. It's wireless and charges through a USB-C port (cable included). There's no switch to turn it on/off - it heats up automatically when it's held. There is an LED display on the bottom of the handle that shows its charge level and temperature. The instruction manual is scant, but an ice cream scoop needs little instruction.This ice cream scoop heats up fast. When heated, it slices through ice cream as though it were water. My wife is in love with it. For decades I've watched her ruin ice cream by softening it in the microwave. I won't touch ice cream after that (it just occurred to me that that could be her plan!). Now she uses this heated scoop and skips the microwave.My only complaint is the price. I'd like to see it cost less.This scoop is a win-win for me and my wife. It has a permanent home in our utensil drawer. It's a keeper!

Ice cream scoopers are kind of the worst invention in the world because how are they even supposed to work. But this one is amazing because it heats up on its own, just by holding the handle and lets you scoop out even rock hard ice cream easily. Definitely make sure you charge it before use, otherwise you'll be in for a disappointment. But you literally just have to grab the handle and the bottom of the scooper shows your current battery percentage and starts heating up, all on its own.I also appreciate the little stand for the counter so you don't get ice cream on your counter by setting down the scoop.Comes with extra plastic charging port covers/protectors for when you're not charging it, so you don't get ice cream in it. So don't throw those away! They will come in handy.

Caution: use of this ice cream scoop may significantly increase your consumption of ice cream! It is so easy to dip with, that you'll have a hard time stopping.Included in the box are the ice cream scoop, a stand for the scoop, a charging cable and extra plug covers for the charging port. The scoop itself has a nice build quality.The heating function is turned on by holding the handle. A display on the end of the handle indicates the temperature of the scoop. I held it for a minute or so and it went from room temperature to 150°. You can definitely feel it get warmer. Once it goes in the ice cream though, it will cool down. Continuing to hold the handle will have it heating back up.I recommend it both for the novelty and for the convenience. It works better than running a scoop under hot water.
