I had this exact (almost) LaCrosse model for 15+ years, and it was perfect for my needs and my decor. It finally started getting flaky - stopping in the night every couple of weeks, so I would have to reset it.I decided to replace it with this same model since it's predecessor lasted so long. Differences are that the outdoor and indoor temperatures are revised, this one shows the phase of the moon (cute!), the seconds are displayed, and the day/date are much larger and easier to read.It caught the WWVB time signal in under 2 hours, versus usually overnight for my old one.Glad that I got it! Recommended highly!

Of course, it keeps perfect time. I originally mounted it at eye-level when I was standing up. but I could not see well when I was sitting down. It is a minor annoyance; I found a compromise height. My other complaint is that the outside remote loses connection a lot, and it is only 20 feet away.

This is our third LaCrosse Atomic Clock. Purchased others over many years due to high level of satisfaction for quality and appearance. Our previous clock went belly-up due to failure of outside sensor. However, we had it for over five years, so we got our money's worth. Believe outside temps (extreme cold and heat) caused the eventual failure of sensor. Unique surprise was that after mounting the new clock and placing the external sensor, the older clock activated on the new sensor. Moved the older clock to study and now have two functional atomic clocks. Love Them.
