I had this sink installed in my new laundry/mudroom because it seemed practical and attractive. Installation was a hassle because the drain isn't standard - it's actually a commercial janitor sink so it needs a commercial size drain, which we had to go to a plumbing supply to get. But the real drawback is that metal rim, meant to protect the sink enamel against the abuse from a mop bucket. It's not firmly attached flush to the enamel all around as you'd expect; it's somewhat loose and wickedly sharp. We've suffered one minor flesh wound already from getting a little careless while cleaning and I'm truly afraid of letting small children get near the thing - I can imagine a serious cut to head or hands coming into contact with that *&#@ rim! I also can't use it for hand washing of laundry as I'd intended, for fear of it catching and cutting delicate fabric. I'm trying to work up the nerve to remove the thing before any of that happens, but I'm afraid of removal leaving holes in the enamel so I haven't yet. If you're looking to use this for anything other than dumping mop buckets, beware the built-in hazard.
