This futon is very solid and seemingly well built. Assembly was pretty easy (my husband did in 1-2 hours by himself with little swearing which is how I know that it was relatively easy :-) (Instructions included 13 steps). The futon mattress and linen-like fabric is very nice and we love the blue color. I expect this will hold up well for a very long time. One down side: we ordered the Qn size. With the futon in upright position, the mattress is very high at the back, which looks a bit odd. I think a full size would look more like a normal sofa. For this reason, if you don't absolutely need Qn sleeping, then I would opt for the Full size.
