Using a Class-D power plant, the CXA400.1 features a variable bass boost with KickEQ, giving you as much as a 6dB of extra bump.
CX-Series Amplifiers accept up to 40 volts (400 watts) of speaker-level input signal. This kind of flexibility both makes line-out converters unnecessary and optimizes your sound quality.

Bought this to replace a Blaupunkt amp that was purchased new last year. This is in a pontoon boat driving two Kicker 10” subwoofers. The heat inside the compartment is my guess what killed the Blaupunkt in 4 months but I hope this one lasts longer!

Using to power one ten inch sub, doesnt even get warm but I dont listen to bass intensive music. Biggest selling point for me was the voltage for high level inputs. My inputs are from an Amp/Dsp and I dont even have to turn the input gain down in DSP. Strong signal made a clean input and the amp take it well.

Picked up this amp to run with the skar 10" sub made for the Tacoma. Perfect combo! 400 watts RMS at 1ohm paired with the 1ohm 10" gives excellent bass and perfect fit! Amp fits nicely under the back passenger seat storage, I just moved the jack that was there to the other side, ran the amp power under the passenger side door plates, under the carpet into the storage area. Ran the RCA under the driver side. Great little amp for the price!

Very powerful amplifier for the money, and a solid brand to purchase. This amp is mono so it combines left and right signals passed into it; the subwoofer low-pass filter that's built-in works well; the bass boost control is a nice feature; and there's plenty of gain to match your installation requirements. The amplifier effortlessly pushes a 2-ohm load to its 400W RMS rating and a bit more while getting only slightly warm to the touch.

Lack of functions but powerfull. Will drive 2 12s and only for 10 inch and above. My application requires a 2 channel option as I'm running 6.5 in doors. Kicker is well built but over priced and you will pay for name. Kicker has good budget amps though like this one.

Exactly as ordered, works perfect. Paired with sealed kicker 8" with 8" passive radiator, sounds pretty good in my soft top wrangler. Super small and easy to hide, fit under the rear seat.

Installed this in my 2016 Ram 2500 Laramie Power Wagon using the Rockford Fosgate RFI2SW high level RCA input adapter. These amps use Kickers FIT+ (2019 and up) technology so it can accept up to 40VDC high input signal and does not require a LOC and uses DC offset for remote turn on. This little amp is rated @ 525 Watts RMS so is perfectly matched for the sub I used. Kicker never disappoints! Extremely easy to install and works very well in this setup. Use full spec 8AWG wire for install to avoid overheating and blown fuses! Highly recommended!
