Worked like it should to change key cylinders. And much cheaper than buying from a dealer or lock smith.

When I asked my Locksmith about changing keys on my camping trailer, he told me there was a special key you could get to free the cylinder from the lockworks while in the unlocked position. Then you could simply install a different numbered cylinder. One company that has it's own website offers to rent you one of these keys for $50 or sell it to you for $99. After finding detailed info on the special key, this one was ordered for $9.99 which is a great savings. Keep in mind that this is not a master key, and you must unlock the lock before this key can be used to release the cylinder from the lock.

Worked perfectly. This key allowed me to remove a worn global lock cylinder and replace it with a new one at a fraction of the cost well worth the $10.

This worked as it should. A couple of things I discovered in the process.1-The key-change tool may stick in the old lock cylinder requiring a small amount of force to remove the tool from the cylinder.2-Don't wiggle the cylinder as you pull it out - slide straight out. Wiggling may rotate the lock mechanism and the new cylinder won't be aligned properly requiring you to take a small screwdriver to realign the main lock mechanism in the back of the cylinder hole.3-Pay attention to the orientation of the old cylinder as you remove it. There's a tab on the back of the cylinder. The new cylinder must be inserted with the tab in the exact same orientation or it will not seat.

Do not buy this key. It does not work. Put the key in the door and nothing happened. Jiggled the key and now it’s stuck and I have to buy a new damn door handle. The key is forever stuck.Tried to save money and now is costing me money….NO NO NO NO NO!!!

Works perfectly to take the lock cylinders out of a Forest River travel trailer door, so you can install them on a replacement/new door. You need the original key for your trailer doors.

Based on some reviews I was worried that this would turn out to be a knock off made in somebody's basement. It's not. It is exactly the Global yellow Key-Change tool that I hoped for. By design, it won't unlock a locked compartment latch, but it will remove the cylinder from an unlocked latch. Despite my fears otherwise the product description was spot on.

Watch the YouTube videos how to use it properly. As long as it's a LCI lock, it works mint!

Just what I needed to remove the Global Lock cylinders on my trailer to replace them. I wanted the outside compartments to be the same key as the door.
