I ordered this to help myself out with making jewelry and chain. I absolutely love that it helps make it exactly the same size on each side. It's always been a struggle for me. Thick and durable it leaves little to be desired.

If you need make jewelry, this is a handy guide to have. Basically, you place the pegs at the measurements you need and place the chain on the pegs, then cut off the extra. Leave the pegs in place, remove the cut chain, add more chain to the pegs and cut the new chain. Then both chains will be the same length. I'd been measuring chain and counting links to make sure the lengths were even. This is such an easier way to cut multiple lengths. The board is 3D printed and you can see some of the layers in the print, but it's not a big deal. I do wish they had included a second set of pegs, but if/when a peg gets lost, I'll probably to buy a second guide.

This is one of those things I didn’t realize I needed until I got it. It has already helped me so much, and I’ve only had it for a few days. It’s just really convenient and makes measuring chains so much easier. Prior to this, I was trying all sorts of different methods to hold the chain in place and count the little links. This tool has solved a frustrating problem I didn’t even fully acknowledge before. Overall, I’m super pleased with this purchase and definitely recommend it. For only $14, it can really help any jewelry maker.

I have a few pieces I plan on adding chain to so this will be exciting to try. The 3d printing is a little imperfect but not a dealbreaker. The pins are very tiny as I expected since the holes in chains are very tiny. I do hope they don’t get lost or break. I wish there had been a few more included for that reason. The holes distance are in millimeters with 7.5mm between each hole. It’s on the card but not the board itself. Still, a great product and I can’t wait to get my other supplies to start adding chain to my pieces.

This had made cutting chain so much easier, faster, and accurate. I no longer need to count chains or measure a thousand times to make sure that all of my chains are the same size. It is of good quality and will definitely last a long time.
