About this item

  • Geiger counter radiation detector is using the LCD display, the working status of the nuclear radiation instrument is clear on the display, and you can quickly and accurately read the data you need.
  • With the function of automatically storing data, even if the power is suddenly cut off, the data will not be lost and can be stored for a long time.
  • There are three alarm methods: sound, light and vibration, which can better remind you and give you a better experience.
  • Hand-held portable design, easy to carry and store, you can put it in your pocket for carrying.
  • NR-750 has three measurement units: uSv/h, uGy/h, mR/h, which can meet your daily needs for detecting radioactive radiation.

Nuclear radiation is a problem that each one needs to pay attention to, because it may bring some serious consequences, such as disease or even cancer. Our nuclear radiation detector can help you to detect nuclear radiation well, so if you need it, come and try it.

I have no way of verifying the accuracy of this radiation detector because I have nothing accurate to compare it to, but it seems to be detecting varying amounts of radioactivity as I carry it around, so I think it works.

The device is a straight forward GM detector with an LCD display. Units can be switched between uSv/hr and mR/r. It has a dose integration function as well as a rate meter. While I would not use it to support regulatory compliance in a power plant, lab or hospital it would be a welcome addition to a home owner in a nuclear accident or fallout situation to evaluate trends in radiological hazard. It uses AA batteries

In the event of a nuclear attack, stay indoors for a few days to let all the fallout settle. But how do you know if the fallout radiation is really lower? How do you know how long to stay inside? How do you know when it’s “safer” to go outside again? With this device, you can monitor the levels. Awesome.

I was represented as a Geiger counter but is actually a dosimeter. That's what I really wanted anyway. I like that I can set it to different functions and readings. The size is practical. I saw a demonstration and saw how sensitive it was compared to some others including an expensive model and it performed better than the other inexpensive ones and as good as the more expensive model.

My 2 Eneloop white AAA cells have run this for 4 weeks without error. Accurate within its range AFAICT by comparisons. IMO, It is a good lower end device to protect humans from Beta-Gamma exposure. Not the device to visit a 3 Mile Island meltdown, but a good choice outside the highest threat zones, to see quickly if debris is hazardous, or if the wind wind brings problems from 50 miles away. Lightweight, and easy enough to figure out.

Unit appears to work correctly. However when you change the date it updates on the set screen but continues to show the startup date of 2020-1-1. This does not appear to affect the overall operation.

I bought two of these to try after I heard a good review about them. I tested them against a much more expensive geiger counter using my test piece of uranium. They were not perfectly accurate but they were 95% as good for the much lower price of the better piece of equipment. They are good to keep in the car. It is better to be prepared and have them and hope you’ll ever need them and want them later when you cannot get them.
