These are so convenient. Wish they were a tad wider but they manage to fit filter and step down ring.

This faux suede pouch is built to perfection like all Kase filters and products are. There's no skimping on quality, materials or workmanship.The pouch is very soft and protective and the faux suede material doesn't shed any fibers which keeps your filter clean. The squeeze-closure on top is strong and precise and won't let in any dust or particles.I haven't decided if I'm going to use it for storing a filter or other small photographic accessories.

When it comes to storing filters, my strong preference is for the semi-transparent flexible plastic boxes that used to come with B+W filters and still comes with some of the nicer Haida and Neewer filters. They are durable and protective, even if they are not the most compact option.That said, if I were to use a pouch, this Kase pouch would be the one I would choose. It is excellent. The mechanism used to pop it open works exceptionally well in both the open and closed positions. In the closed position, it is tightly sealed. Nothing is going to get in or out, including dirt and dust. The exterior of the pouch feels like a combination of suede and rubber. It is aesthetically pleasing and feels quite durable. The interior is a soft fabric with very short pile. Lint has not been an issue at all.There are downsides. One is that there is no way to tell what is inside of a pouch, particularly if you use more than one of them. (They are also available in a 3-pack.) It would be nice if they came in different colors but this is not an option. You'd have to label them with a Sharpie to tell them apart. A second downside is that they are simply less protective compared to a plastic storage box.Of course, these pouches can hold other items as well. My wife immediately noted that they would be good for storing jewelry since they are soft inside and remain sealed when closed. I can imagine many other uses as well. They are simply very nice pouches.The bottom line is that this is a very well-executed product that is easy to recommend. Five stars.
