after a few months of VERY minimal use, like less than once a month, it now connects and disconnects randomly and neither mic stays connected for even one full song. company does not offer any support, returns, or replacement. absolutely not worth the money!!!

Runs only on battery. Instructions specifically state not to use while charging and it doesn't operate with a power cord. Very cute, sound is pretty good, portability is very convenient.
