This reflector is the right shape for a proper UVB spread. It fit my Sunblaster fixture as well - since their reflectors are garbage.

The product does the job it's meant to do, but it's literally just a piece of plastic with a reflective film on the bulb side and a proprietary snap on design on the top. I was expecting something more substantial for the $20 they're asking for this. There's little more substance in the product compared to the packaging it comes in. If you're considering buying any "Jump Start" propagation products I would recommend buying these products as a combo/package set. I purchased the light, and reflector separately, and I believe I've overpaid.

This item does not "snap on". I had to remove the piece the bulb screws into and use a 2.5lb hammer to mash the reflector on. For a 24 watt light it's not worth the trouble to "reflect" the light.

Great fit, fast shipping, durable material. Much better than our previous tin foil reflector :)

I'm usually not too difficult to please, for one thing I generally do a bit of research on something before I buy it, I guess I should've researched Jump Start a bit better. While the whole unit overall is sufficient for my needs, this reflector is a nightmare. I spent many years of my life as a mechanic, so putting things together always comes quite naturally to me but, this reflector was the most miserable thing to attach that I've seen in quite some time. There are two strips running the length of the backside that are supposed to snap onto the light fixture, supposed to. I don't know how long I fought with it but, it was far too long. I had it completely apart so I could set the bare fixture right on the table in front of me and it was still ridiculous. Eventually I ended up cutting out a few long strips of the snap on strip piece on one side so that it was just a few small tabs to get locked in on that side and I ended up getting it, after another small fight. So now my brand new light and reflector look like hell because of having to cut it up like crazy. I wouldn't go this route again, not without major changes being made to the ease of attaching a reflector.
