With a Diaper Genie Compact, this fits in the pail itself, but it is not the same design as the manufacturer replacement and it doesn’t click or fit perfectly. As a result, the lid doesn’t close as easily or fully and if you force it too much (as if trying to stuff every diaper in every try spot) the bags may fall into the pail.Otherwise, it works as a cheaper replacement, but I’d use it in a room that isn’t where you sleep or stay at too long if you have the compact palm as the smells could leak out with the cover not always being fully closed.

We have the Diaper Genie Select and these refills fit perfectly. Excited to find these square refills substitutes as I see more round refill packs there. Durable and a great substitute for the brand-named refill packs at a fraction of the cost.
