My wife is on Peritoneal Dialysis and occasionally needs to perform a manual exchange. This would require the use of an IV pole that we have to keep around "just in case." So I took an old TV hutch, the kind that was used for older tube TVs and created a dialysis hutch. This pivoting I.V. hook was just the item needed to replace the pole in case a manual exchange was needed. I simply screwed it into the cabinet frame behind the doors and voila, if needed she can swing it out and hang a bag. Otherwise, with the doors closed it looks like a regular piece of furniture.

We purchased these items in order to eliminate the IV poles that rolled around the room. These have worked out perfectly. Makes the rooms look larger and neater. We don't fall over the poles that were always in our way.

The hook is relatively simple to install, you will need a drill, drill bit, and a phillips screwdriver.Once mounted the hook is very strong, but can sometimes be difficult to hang IV bags on since it pivots far to easily.
