There is no way to Align the machine if it ever gets off center.

To start with the correct POV and context, I have over 30 years of machining experience - especially Lathes. But since this was for my home shop and didn't have a high budget and this machine has met my expectations - so far. Meaning that I didn't have high hopes, and much like the prior review, which allowed me to click buy-now, it will need some work and time to get it to make good parts. For example, add a DRO since the dials are pretty bad. The cleaning and setting of gibs is normal but the guard automatically hits the chuck. You're better off taking it off. Some tweaks to the chuck and I was able to get 0.0005 TIR.Pros:1. Price - 8" swing under $1k2. Weight - Heavy enough to cut metal but light enough to move it around.3. Thru spindle over >25mm a must have.Cons:1. Contact info (who or even an email?)2. Tool post - expect to replace it with a quick change.3. Tailstock - Not the most rigid4. Threading - it lacks a clocking nutMy only regret is not spending a little more for a slightly larger lathe and more horsepower. Do your research but get the largest lathe you can afford and squeeze into your shop.

Pros: The machine arrived today undamaged. It has cosmoline on it and will take me awhile to disassemble clean and lubricate. I purchased some extra gears in different sizes and wrote a program to calculate what gears to use for every pitch, Imperial and Metric. I found that with the extra gears there was space for a lead screw reversing gear. So this lathe can cut left handed threads.Cleaned up the lathe and lubricated and adjusted. The run out (TIR) on the Chuck mounting plate was so small I could not measure it (amazing). The TIR on a 1" chucked round bar was .0015" also very good for an inexpensive chuck. I have read of people having problems finding replacement belts for other similar lathes using geared belts, this lathe uses easily available inexpensive Micro-V 150J3 belts. You will never have a problem finding a belt. I ran the lowest speed from min to max and got no vibration at all.Con: The documentation looks like a photo copy and is difficult to read. The documentation is for a spindle with a 40T gear this has a 56T spindle gear. You will have no way to figure out your gear train reading the documentation. The lower half nut did not disengage from the lead screw and I had to adjust the lead screw bushing blocks ( then it was perfect ). The guard was not properly installed and I had to disassemble and fix.Recommended: Go to HM (The Hobby Machinist) and search WM210V. I have posted a few manuals (since none are fully correct, but all give different pieces of information). I have also posted a programs that calculate all of the gears for any given thread since the manual supplied is for a 40T spindle and this machine has a 56T spindle. You can do left handed threads with this machine and reverse the feed. The machine can do more than they advertise if you get extra gears. The machine is now fully setup cleaned, oiled and greased. The tailstock was in perfect alignment and had the added bonus of a calibrated dial. All of the ways came tight but move freely now that they are oiled with 50w oil. The change gears are high quality machined steel. The WM210V is made in many factories in China and India. The factory that produced this machine did a really good job. I would have no trouble recommending this particular machine.Parts are available from Numobams but it is difficult find on the home page. Best to search the part and Numobam together. You can upgrade the machine to full electronic control of the leadscrew. with a NU210E upgrade kit. This allows all threads and make this machine a even more powerful tool. After running for a month I heard a pop and the lathe control board died. I contacted the seller and within one week I had the replacement board and was up and running. This is a fantastic seller.
