I use this for my glass company removing black mirror adhesive. The adhesive is simply diabolical in how it stays wet, spreads everywhere, and ruins everything it touches. Tar based, I think? Acrysol basically neutralizes it. You can get the black adhesive out of white carpet with zero evidence remaining.Also... for some reason it works well removing silicone residue, a very difficult thing to completely remove. Along with a magic eraser and a razor blade, it slightly dissolves the silicone and allows thin layers to be removed at a time. Carefully scrape with the blade, spray it with acrysol, rub with magic eraser, repeat. It slowly dissolves the magic eraser, too, but that's no big deal.This stuff is indispensable for my business.

We were given a can of this solvent when we purchased a new recreational vehicle.. We have used this since 2005 and love it..It really takes off everything we tried including tar, grease and left over tape residue, has never harmed the painted surface.. We keep a can at all times, very good product.

I heard years ago this company went bankrupt. Perhaps I am wrong. Whatever the case, this is a super-solvent and it the antidote to some of the gnarliest adhesives we use. I can get gunk on white carpet and still leave the jobsite with a smile and my dignity intact. This product saves us lots of money and integrity.
